Guest guest
Your story is very welcome .. I have read your posts with welcome and wondered at 'why' the effort to always present such a positive side .. with no mention of all the negatives happening. I firmly believe we would ALL collectively benefit if we each practiced changing the words and language we use to eliminate angry words, thoughts from the mind, sarcasm or hurtful or injurious words, etc. I try to practice the same as I realized my angers, etc. when nursed, hurt ME .. physically and mentally and that I couldn't "afford" it. The main 12th step program has a suggestion that we cease fighting anyone or anything .. which is a paradox, for example, for a lawyer. However, it also implies that one spiritually come to that place of inner peace where one can really practice "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference" in such a way that I CAN rest results with complete acceptance in God's hands. THAT is where the "peace" that passes all understanding comes from. So thanks for your positive input to help "turnaround" negative or depressive moods, etc. towards the positive, peaceful and effective side. Joyce Simmerman There is ALWAYS a "BETTER WAY"!
