Doc,

This list is very timely for me. We have been planning to go back to an

alkaline diet - we strayed for a few months now. I have a question for you, when

alkaline vegetables/fruits are cooked do they become acidic? Even if just

steamed?

Thanks.

Hi Melly,

No they do not become acid when cooked. The pH does not change at all.

Best,

Doc

Hi Duby,

You're more than welcome.

For the average, healthy, and proper weight person 2 slices a day would

be OK.  Anyone overweight, no more than one slice a day.  If you're

really over weight, zero until you get it off.

Best regards,

Doc
