This bill was supposed to move through the Rules and Calendar Council. Please contact these legislators and let them know you want to preserve the freedom to provide for your own mental health care and object to the mental health programs in the Federal health care bill. http://www.myfloridahouse.gov/Sections/Committees/committeesdetail.aspx?SessionId=64 & CommitteeId=2445 --------------------------- Other Florida legislators have submitted a bill which is asking for our constitutional rights to be upheld. This goes along with choosing your own mental health care. Murzin's council (EconomicDevelopment & Community Affairs Policy Council). Rep. Workman has askedrepeatedly to get that moving. As of yet, the council has not heard thebill. This week will be the last meeting of Murzin's council and if wedon't get it on that agenda, the issue will be dead in the House. You'rewelcome to call Rep. Murzin's office at (850) 488-8278.Conversely, the Senate sponsor, Carey Baker has moved the memorial throughthe first referred committee and has one more to go. Obviously, he ishaving greater success. Forward email This email was sent to karensinghrs by laurie. Update Profile/Email Address | Instant removal with SafeUnâ„¢ | Privacy Policy.
