You can order truly raw almonds directly from farms in California. Any almonds that you buy in stores, even if labelled 'raw', have been pasteurized and are dead; they will not sprout; enzymes and vital energy have been destroyed.

bummer and i thought agave was natural now tell me how bad store bought almond milk is trouble is almonds are sooo expensive here in new york , i realize home made with sprouted almonds is best but find an un roasted un salted un sweeten ones around here in the winter is near impossible lol patty

Yikes!!!! They're expensive!!!!! ;)

 

I guess I didn't know how truly lucky I was three years ago when I was getting milk (raw!) from a farmer acquaintance for $2.00 a gallon!!! The price of gas went up and I quit going to get it. When I went back (gas went down), he was gone, though his cows were still there. I really should try to find him again, though gas is creeping up again.......
