President Obama is demanding a vote on healthcare

reform by March 18th - just 10 days from now! He

is in full campaign mode and has launched the most

aggressive round of Chicago-style politics we have

yet seen. See below. - Mat

President Obama is back on the campaign trail in a

last-ditch effort to drum up support for his

increasingly unpopular healthcare "reform" package.

 

Appearing in various cities over the next several days,

the President is putting on a series of contrived meetings

in front of heavily partisan and select audiences in

order to persuade the public that ObamaCare is good

for America.

 

It will be political theater at its best (or worst, in this case).

 

Meanwhile, the President is pressing uneasy lawmakers to

show political "courage" and not let a historic opportunity

pass them by. But real political courage would be for our

politicians to stand for the Constitution and represent

their constituents!

 

Obama's renewed stumping comes on the heels of a

new poll revealing that only 25% of Americans

think the country is headed in the right direction.

This mirrors other recent polls showing only 25%

of Americans now support ObamaCare.

 

In other words, the President is asking lawmakers to take

a huge political fall for a governmental takeover of our

healthcare system that 75% of Americans oppose! Even worse,

he has set the "countdown clock" for a do-or-die, kamikaze

congressional vote using the highly inappropriate "reconciliation"

procedure.

 

The House is to vote (according to Obama's dictate)

in just TEN DAYS...

 

And then just one week later, the Senate is supposed

to pass a so-called "reconciliation" bill...

 

So that Congress can subserviently bring the desired

bill to his desk for his Presidential signature...

 

And just like that, ObamaCare is to be the law of the land!

 

++Not on our watch!

 

ObamaCare was bad for America last week - and it will be

bad for America on March 18th! It still has an abortion

mandate, a personal participation mandate, and yet-to-be

determined costs that are certain to be well beyond a

trillion dollars.

 

But you know all of that, as do 75% of your fellow Americans

who are thoroughly SICK of this arrogant, condescending

attempt to ram ObamaCare care down the nation's throat!

 

Here's what I'm asking you to do right now:

 

FIRST... FAX your elected officials!

 

Your Senators and Representative - and other key members of

Congress - need to hear YOUR voice during the next ten days

as never before. Believe me, our elected officials are

going to be hearing PLENTY from the White House arm-twisters

and the fanatic members of Organizing for America (OfA),

radical labor unions, and MoveOn.org. And as I have

mentioned before, the Leftists are emphasizing their

"Virtual March on Washington" with growing intensity.

tell them what you think about the President's campaign tactics.

 

++Chicago-style bullying and renewed arm-twisting.

 

Not surprisingly, the backroom deals, threats, political

pressure and all the unsavory practices that characterized

the last big push for ObamaCare are back in full operation.

 

Rep. Rep. Eric Massa (D-NY), who announced his resignation

last Friday (he initially claimed health problems, but an

investigation by the House ethics committee was also in play),

now says he was the victim of a power play by Democrat

leaders who wanted him out of Congress because he was a

"no" vote on health care reform!

 

Massa says, "And now they've gotten rid of me, and it will

pass. You connect the dots." Of course, the Democrat

leadership has rejected Massa's statements out of hand,

but other such events are surfacing as the pressure mounts

for passage.

 

Like this curious coincidence: Last week, President Obama

appointed Scott Matheson to a federal judgeship. Scott's

brother, Jim Matheson (D-UT), earlier voted "no" to ObamaCare.

Now Rep. Matheson is listed as "undecided." Again, Democrats

angrily reject any attempt to link these events.

 

What further "unconnected" events will we see between

now and the March 18? What disgraceful practices have

been effectively hidden from view?

 

Now is the time to let our elected officials know that this

anti-life, unconstitutional bill has been overwhelmingly

rejected by the American people! Join our fax barrage and

help notify these lawmakers that THEY WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE.

++There is no life in ObamaCare.

 

Last week we learned that Rep. Bart Stupak and 11 other

Democrats WILL NOT vote for the Senate-passed version

because of language that permits the federal government

to "directly subsidize abortions."

 

This was good news for pro-life advocates and those who

realize that there is an "abortion mandate" intrinsic

to ObamaCare. That's also one of the major reasons why,

once again, I'm asking you to take a stand.
