This

is important.

 

The email below is sent by friend Michael Baybak, who in turn

was forwarding an email from Grassfire, a conservative activist

organization.

 

I am not sending it to endorse Grassfire. I am sending it

because there is some important information contained in the email

about the current status of the health care bill - essentially, that

those favoring the bill are flooding Congress with phone calls and

faxes.

 

WE MUST DO THE SAME, BUT IN GREATER

VOLUME.

 

As many of you know, the so called Health Care Reform bill is

pregnant with a host of Orwellian psychiatric programs designed to turn

America into a full blown therapeutic state.

 

I kid you not.

 

I am not going to list them all. You have likely seen them

before, and at this point, we simply need a MASSIVE outpouring of

opposition to the bill.

 

In the email below, Grassfire provides a link that they have set

up to fax members of Congress. It is fast and convenient. However, they

charge a fee to handle all of the faxing. By all mean use them if you

chose.

 

That said, a simple click of the mouse can take you to www.Congress.org

Dead in the middle of the home page is a space that enables you to find

your legislators by simply inserting your zip code. You can then access

the phone, fax and email data right there.

 

I can't tell you how very important it is for you to contact

your legislators on this -- phone or fax is best (email if you must,

but it is the less effective).

 

This is a very short, process. You call. You say, I am a

constituent and would like to talk to the staff person dealing with the

health care bill. You will be transferred (or possibly the receptionist

will take the data). You may get the person or you may get voice mail.

In any case, your message is very simple. You are a constituent of the

Senators (or Representative) and you are calling to voice your STRONG 

opposition to the healthcare bill.

 

That's the main message. You can add specifics if you chose --

 

“I don't want the government forcing me or anyone to have to buy

health insurance.â€

 

“The country cannot afford this. The most conservative estimate

is that it is going to cost a trillion dollars and you are going to

raise taxes to pay for it. Stop this uncontrolled spending.â€

 

“It is full of intrusive mental health programs that will sky

rocket costs because those services are based on subjective

determinations.â€

 

(The Grassfire email makes reference to a Bennet Letter. I would

not get into that. Use one of the above or your other personal views

you may have on the bill.)

 

You can use any of these or, again, just, "I want the Senator to

know that I am strongly opposed to the Health Care Bill. It's not what

the government should be doing. She should vote, ‘No.’"

 

If you fax, same thing.

 

In either case, you should contact both of your Senators and you

Congressman / woman.

 

Three calls or faxes. Total of the calls would take you perhaps

5 minutes.

 

One more very important thing, please get this out to anyone and

everyone you know. We must generate a tsunami of opposition to this

bill.

 

We cannot let this pass – not on our watch!

 

You can fax over the weekend, but if you are going to call, call

on Monday. Don’t delay. Don’t put it off.

Hill phones "going crazy" supporting ObamaCare

The "public option" is a real threat and liberal activists are

flooding

I just received word from a trusted contact on Capitol Hill that

the Left's

strategy of flooding Congress with "Pro ObamaCare" phone calls

is working.

 

"We just left [a member of Congress'] office and while we were

waiting,

their phones were going crazy demanding"

support for health care and to sign on to the Bennet letter

committing to

voting for reconciliation. The Bennet effort is to give Pelosi

air cover for

the House vote....

Get everyone you can to call or fax or email."

 

The "Bennet letter" refers to a letter from Sen. Michael Bennet

of Colorado

which urges Majority Leader Reid to use BUDGET RECONCILIATION to

pass

ObamaCare WITH THE PUBLIC OPTION.

 

In other words, the Bennet letter is designed to send a message

to House

Democrats that the House version of the bill with the public

option will be

included in the final (real) ObamaCare bill using reconciliation.

 

And reports indicate the Bennet Letter already has 33 signers!

This contact also relayed the following on the prospects of

ObamaCare

passing...

 

"The person who has been our main contact said...last week she

would have

thought 20% [likelihood of ObamaCare passing] now thinks 50%....

They also

have polling data that each piece of health care reform when

polled line by

line has support and that Americans will love it after they do

it.

My sense is that we really need the TEA party to bombard the

House members

or this is going to happen."
