Hi Doc,Every so often i forward an email from our group to my husband -- which of course he responds with comments such as "wow!" or "that sounds awesome!" So today, he asked me to formally ask you about the Cleanse (after he read the email you sent me today :). Although we werent going to officially do the TBC till spring time - my husband is thinking of doing it sooner. (I believe its more for the weight loss aspect, but the health benefits that come along with it sound very exciting as well.) In any case, my hubby has one basic question: he works in Manhattan at a regular 9-6 corporate job and needs to know if the cleanse will cause him to be running to the bathroom all day? would he need to take off a few days/ week from work to do it properly? If you could give me some more

information on that it would be great! thanks so much - hope to hear from you soon,Deb :) Doc <Docherbal remedies Sent: Thu, January 21, 2010 12:57:40 PMRe: {Herbal Remedies} Taking the cleanse further?!?!

Dear Deb,

You're more than welcome.

I'm now into day 18 of the TBC AND my Juice Fast.

I've dropped over 12 pounds, and I went to visit my Massage Therapist

yesterday who was just astounded. He told me that in two weeks, I now

have the skin tone and look of a 30 year old. Not bad for an old

Curmudgeon who's pushing 64 ;o))))) I've got 40 pounds to lose

altogether, and at first it seemed almost NOT doable. After Day 3 the

hunger pangs lessened dramatically, and then after Week 1, when I made

up my mind I actually WAS having fun with it and that I was actually

enjoying the challenge of it all, I became aware that I'd been living

to eat rather than eating to live as Ben Franklin once said. The

ringing in my right ear disappeared altogether, and I hadn't even been

taking my Ear Formula (forgot to ;))

The TBC of course speeds up the entire healing process so I'm feeling

pretty chipper.

I've got today and tomorrow left on the Kidney Cleanse, and then I'm

going to do the Blood Detox Part of the Incurables just for drill, to

ensure all organs are as pure as possible. Along with this, I'll be

doing the Brain Formula to test out one of my Theories on "Longevity".

I'll be doing some before and after pics to show that a person can

actually and truly reverse aging to some degree, by rejuvenating the

Pituitary and Pineal Glands. This will also ensure the Weight stays

off PERMANENTLY !!!

Anyway, glad you liked the posts. More later.

All the best,

Doc

RE: {Herbal

Remedies} Taking the cleanse further?!?!

Thanks for

your update Doc,

I’m on Day 3

of the

Liver/Gallbladder cleanse (week 3) and I feel pretty good…I’ve lost

16 pounds J thus far

and I suspect it will continue. The morning flush is hard

to do, not because of the taste (fresh juiced oranges work great) but

it’s

because I can’t get the ginger and garlic chopped up enough in my

chopper

so I wind up having to drink chunks (not so great). I also think I’m

going to run out of the intestinal detox formula since I’ve got two

days

to go and I’ve had to do less than teaspoon with the hopes that I

don’t

run out (I’ve taken it as prescribed for the duration…but still

believe I’ll be short). I am also having a hard time keeping to your

suggested schedule but I do get most everything in by the end of the

day. I’ve

had to stop rebounding (which I just started) due to a possible broken

toe (at

least badly bruised/swollen) on EACH foot – don’t ask!!! I think

once I lose another 10 pounds I’ll probably be able to exercise in

moderation.

I’ll be

right along with you as far

as keeping it raw, simple and juicing once I get the TBC complete as I

want to

get to my ideal weight also. I will add things in but with extreme

moderation.

I have access to raw cow’s milk and will stick with that but will keep

it

to very small amounts. The chickens in the backyard provide both meat

and eggs

for me…and I guess I’ll reconsider getting that piglet! I’ll

keep the glass of red wine to once or twice a week and now that my

stomach is

shrinking it’ll be much easier to maintain the CORRECT portions.

I made half

the recipe of the potassium

broth and have yet to drink any as I find that everything on the list

keeps me

fairly full. Maybe I’ll add it to my TN in the morning.

Keep it up –

looks like I’m a

day ahead of you…catch me if you can J

Re: {Herbal

Taking the cleanse further?!?!

Hey Lisa,

Thanks for the update, and you ' re

doing great. Keep it up and I have no doubt you ' ll

put this Grave ' s in the Grave (pun

intended ;o)))).

I ' m on Day Two of the Liver /

Gallbladder / Pancreas Cleanse and beginning to feel absolutely

AWESOME.

Of course, I ' ve also been doing the

entire cleanse by Juice Fasting ONLY. This makes it real intense =

kinda

doubles the wins you ' re already

having on the Cleanse itself. I ' ve

dropped 10 lbs which has slowed down a bit from Week 1, but this is to

be

expected during Week 2 when the Intestinal Detox is sitting in your

bowel

sucking out all those toxins. Once Week 3 is over with, I ' ll

probably drop 5 pounds just in fecal

matter.

Once the TBC is over for me, it ' ll

be Juice Fast only until I reach my ideal weight. Then I start my

Exercise Program to put back on any lost muscle mass, while alternating

Juice

Fast Days with All Raw Days. I ' ll

add meat back into the regimen after all this is done. CJ (another

list

member) and I are doing this together and keeping weekly notes and

Weight

Charts = anyone wishing to do this needs to approach it almost from a

Scientific Method basis. I ' m a

firm believer in keeping Statistics on this kind of stuff.

Here are my last recommendations to her to make the weight loss

permanent =

never to return.

Certain things have

to go for

good. That ' s all there is to

it.

For me = no more of the following from hereon out. It is the only

solution for someone my age (63) since the body won ' t

cover for me any more.

NO MORE:

Pork, Beef, or Dairy Products. Exception:

Raw Goat ' s milk and Raw Goat ' s Cheese = Alkaline and only in

moderation.

No more Chocolate (my biggest weakness

;)))))).

No more Booze in any way whatsoever. There

is no "good" alcoholic drink. Period.

No more Coffee. Coffee is a Weight Gain

TRIGGER. Also causes heart difficulties.

No more Grains that aren ' t 100% Sprouted.

No more Sugar Products or cooking with

Sugar. Honey is kept to a minimum and used in cooking only.

DO EAT:

Fowl (Chicken, Pheasant, Duck , Turkey ,

Quail, Goose, and Grouse etc.) (Wild or Organic only)

Fish (Ocean Caught only)

Wild Game.

All meats as above must be taken in no more

than 4 to 6 oz portions. 6oz is the ultimate max.

Lots of raw salads, veggies. Eat Cooked

Veggies especially if they are dark green.

Eat Sprouted Grains in moderation, and raw

is best.

That ' s all there is to

it.

Eat in moderate size quantities, get some regular exercise and neither

of us

will gain a pound. PERIOD ! ! ! ! ! !

Hugs,

Doc

I’ll

consider extending the TBC to get to my own

“true†weight – which I too, have not been at for several

years (1 child, twins, snacks, drinks etc.). I am finding that on the

TBC when

it comes time for my vegan lunch or vegan dinner – I’m simply not

hungry. The two Total Nutrition drinks are quite fulfilling, although I

do

nibble on fresh fruit, sprouted nuts (a NEW find for me thanks to the

sprouting

book I got from you folks :) and sprouted seeds. I am glad knowing that

the TN drink

can sustain me (picked up two more bottles of UDO’s oil today) as

I’m just not hungry for more. I’m losing about ¾ lb a day –

sometimes more…but I’m glad it’s coming off. I feel

better…not so bloated and the energy has picked up. I saw my

Endocrinologist and he’s ok with taking a conservative approach (i.e.

no

thyroid scan at this time) with the hopes that I get better. Granted,

his

“better†is different from mine as he feels Grave’s Disease

goes into remission and is rarely “curedâ€â€¦me, I’m

convinced I can get better and STAY better/CURED!

Thanks again

for everything. I’m on Day 11…2nd

day of the Intestinal Detox (much better with organic apple juice J)!

Lisa

P.S. With

the Total Nutrition – using both dulse powder and

dulse flakes (that look purple) and Brewer’s yeast grown on

beets…will this be sufficient for these two items?

Re: {Herbal

Taking the cleanse further?!?!

I wouldn ' t Lisa.

The Chlorella in the Total Nutrition and the Cilantro & Garlic in

the Total

Tonic are the best natural Chelators you can find.

A full Total Body Cleanse is ALSO a full Chelation of the body. The

only

thing that would make this even more effective is if you were to do a

Juice

Fast while doing the TBC. That would be the ultimate Cleanse. When

juicing simply add more Cilantro and Garlic to your fresh juices.

Hope this helps.

In Knowledge, Health & Freedom,

Doc

PS. I too am currently on my annual Cleanse. Was a little bit bad

over the holidays (yes, even I err once in a while when it comes to

chocolate

:o))))))))) and I ' m not

only doing a full TBC, I ' m

on a 45 day (minimum) Juice Fast. When doing one of these, I up my TN

content to 2 Tbls 3 times a day. Needless to say, all hell is breaking

loose in the toxins coming out of the body department, but I ' m

feeling better with each day, and I ' m dropping weight like a stone =

a pound a

day is coming off. This is, of course, the safe

way to lose weight so you don ' t

go into a Healing Crisis. My goal is to get down to

my pre-marriage

weight = 40 lbs off. Now, I ' m

6 ' 1" so I ' ve never looked bad at 190, but as I get

Re: {Herbal

Remedies} Taking the cleanse further?!?!

Hey Lisa,

Thanks for the update, and you ' re

doing great. Keep it up and I have no doubt you ' ll

put this Grave ' s in the Grave (pun

intended ;o)))).

I ' m on Day Two of the Liver /

Gallbladder / Pancreas Cleanse and beginning to feel absolutely

AWESOME.

Of course, I ' ve also been doing the

entire cleanse by Juice Fasting ONLY. This makes it real intense =

kinda

doubles the wins you ' re already

having on the Cleanse itself. I ' ve

dropped 10 lbs which has slowed down a bit from Week 1, but this is to

be

expected during Week 2 when the Intestinal Detox is sitting in your

bowel

sucking out all those toxins. Once Week 3 is over with, I ' ll

probably drop 5 pounds just in fecal

matter.

Once the TBC is over for me, it ' ll

be Juice Fast only until I reach my ideal weight. Then I start my

Exercise Program to put back on any lost muscle mass, while alternating

Juice

Fast Days with All Raw Days. I ' ll

add meat back into the regimen after all this is done. CJ (another

list

member) and I are doing this together and keeping weekly notes and

Weight

Charts = anyone wishing to do this needs to approach it almost from a

Scientific Method basis. I ' m a

firm believer in keeping Statistics on this kind of stuff.

Here are my last recommendations to her to make the weight loss

permanent =

never to return.

Certain things have

to go for

good. That ' s all there is to

it.

For me = no more of the following from hereon out. It is the only

solution for someone my age (63) since the body won ' t

cover for me any more.

NO MORE:

Pork, Beef, or Dairy Products. Exception:

Raw Goat ' s milk and Raw Goat ' s Cheese = Alkaline and only in

moderation.

No more Chocolate (my biggest weakness

;)))))).

No more Booze in any way whatsoever. There

is no "good" alcoholic drink. Period.

No more Coffee. Coffee is a Weight Gain

TRIGGER. Also causes heart difficulties.

No more Grains that aren ' t 100% Sprouted.

No more Sugar Products or cooking with

Sugar. Honey is kept to a minimum and used in cooking only.

DO EAT:

Fowl (Chicken, Pheasant, Duck , Turkey ,

Quail, Goose, and Grouse etc.) (Wild or Organic only)

Fish (Ocean Caught only)

Wild Game.

All meats as above must be taken in no more

than 4 to 6 oz portions. 6oz is the ultimate max.

Lots of raw salads, veggies. Eat Cooked

Veggies especially if they are dark green.

Eat Sprouted Grains in moderation, and raw

is best.

That ' s all there is to

it.

Eat in moderate size quantities, get some regular exercise and neither

of us

will gain a pound. PERIOD ! ! ! ! ! !

Hugs,

Doc

I would definitely have

him listen to the second lecture before starting on the cleanse.

This is the lecture that explains in detail the pH - Acid / Alkaline

Ratio and why some foods are more important than others while cleansing

and in life in general.  This is so key that it explains in great

detail why some people get sick and why others just don't.  Says it all

;o)))

Not that it's a "must", just recommended.

(after he read the email you sent me today :). Although we werent going

to officially do the TBC till spring time - my husband is thinking of

doing it sooner. (I believe its more for the weight loss aspect, but

the health benefits that come along with it sound very exciting as

well.)

In any case, my hubby has one basic question: he works in Manhattan at

a regular 9-6 corporate job and needs to know if the cleanse will cause

him to be running to the bathroom all day? would he need to take off a

few days/ week from work to do it properly?

If you could give me some more information on that it would be great!

thanks so much - hope to hear from you soon,

Deb :)

Re: {Herbal

Remedies} Taking the cleanse further?!?!

Doc

RE:

{Herbal

Lisa

Re:

{Herbal

Remedies}

Certain things

have

to go for

good.  That ' s all there is to

it.

For me = no more of the following from hereon out.  It is the only

solution for someone my age (63) since the body won ' t

cover for me any more.

NO MORE:

Pork, Beef, or Dairy Products.  Exception:

Raw Goat ' s milk and Raw Goat ' s Cheese = Alkaline and only in

moderation.

No more Chocolate (my biggest weakness

;)))))).

No more Booze in any way whatsoever.  There

is no "good" alcoholic drink.  Period.

No more Coffee.  Coffee is a Weight Gain

TRIGGER.  Also causes heart difficulties.

No more Grains that aren ' t 100% Sprouted.

No more Sugar Products or cooking with

Sugar.  Honey is kept to a minimum and used in cooking only.

DO EAT:

Fowl (Chicken, Pheasant, Duck , Turkey ,

Quail, Goose, and Grouse etc.) (Wild or Organic only)

Fish (Ocean Caught only)

Wild Game.

All meats as above must be taken in no more

than 4 to 6 oz portions.  6oz is the ultimate max.

Lots of raw salads, veggies.  Eat Cooked

Veggies especially if they are dark green.

Eat Sprouted Grains in moderation, and raw

is best.

That ' s all there is to

it.

Eat in moderate size quantities, get some regular exercise and neither

of us

will gain a pound.  PERIOD ! ! ! ! ! !

Hugs,

Doc

Thanks Doc.

I’ll

consider extending the TBC to get to my own

Re:

{Herbal

Remedies}

My goal is to get down to

my pre-marriage

weight = 40 lbs off.  Now, I ' m

6 ' 1" so I ' ve never looked bad at 190, but as I get

older, I want to actually get healthier in order to prolong life.  I '

m 63 and the body doesn ' t cover for my cheating like it used to so

the weight has to go - permanently ;o)))))))))) ))))))))

Hi Mary/Doc,

I was

wondering…when I complete the 4 week Total Body cleanse do you think an

[oral] chelation would be in order? I know the cleanse helps with some

heavy

metals but will it do as thorough a job as a chelation? I’m merely

trying

to think ahead and prepare myself if I need to have anything particular

on hand

in order to accomplish this.

Thanks.
