Guest guest
My 8 year-old daughter gets hives after she showers and we are uncertain whether it is her body soap or shampoo. Can anyone please suggest both a natural/hypo-allergenic soap and shampoo product for us to use? Thanks very much!

Guest guest
We have been extremely pleased with Kirk's castile bar soap for our bodies and baking soda water for our hair. The baking soda water is made with 1 Tbsp of baking soda to 1 cup water - rub scalp. Follow with an apple cider vinegar rinse. Guest guest
Sorry - it's been awhile since I've had a chance to go through my Herbal Remedies emails. I want to make a comment about baby shampoo. When I was at my hair dressers - several years ago this was - I got to talking to her about shampoos and how they hurt when the suds get in your eyes. I then asked her how it was baby shampoo doesn't hurt the eyes. She told me that the pH of the baby shampoo is designed to not hurt if it gets in your eyes. BUT... it does harm your hair as the pH in that shampoo is not helpful for your hair as it is way different than the pH needed to care for your hair. So, be aware that you are avoiding some tears but making your hair cry instead! Guest guest
I checked over their site, and noticed no where any kind of certification of using only "Organic" Products. They had a award given to them by Debra Lynn Dadd who is a friend of mine, but that's all I saw, that would warrant using them. Personally, I prefer using Terressentials Products http://www.terressentials.com . They are the absolute best in my books. I use nothing else but their "Organic" products.
