Puppy with worms

I have a 12 week old border collie that has worms (just discovered last night).

I don't want to use chemicals to treat it if it can be avoided. I was thinking

that black walnut hulls would do the trick but I don't know how to give it to

her or how much. Does anyone have any ideas?

What kind of worms does your puppy have? Whip worms or pin worms? We had a dog who one time had pin worms so I took raw pumpkin seeds and put them in my food processor to break them down to a meal, then added them to a bit of raw hamburger a couple of times per day for several days and the worms disappeared. Of course, to be on the safe side, all of us ate raw pumpkin seeds for close to a week and the baby was given chamomile tea. No worms for us and the dog cured.

If you have the black walnut hulls in capsule form you might try wrapping small bits of hamburger around the capsule as dogs will usually gobble this up.

Hope this helps.

dosage for the puppy's weight.
