Guest guest
Hi All, Anybody got a great remedy for a split (crack) right by the left hand side of my thumbnail? I’m quite certain it’s due to the weather (cold, dry etc.) and it’s quite painful – really makes my thumb almost useless. I’m hesitant to just throw moisturizer on it as it will sting…would rather try something that folks have used to heal it up fast! Thanks. Guest guest
Hi Lisa, I keep a tube of plain chapstick in my pocket. It is very dry and cold here and my fingers crack quite a bit. Especially in the spring and winter time. When it happens just rub the chapstick into the crack. It stops the pain right away. Also if you get a cut or scratch rub the chapstick on it. It helps close off the air and stops the stinging and helps to heal as it closes the skin.
