Guest guest
Everybody wants to be a utility...with regular income into their coffers...Why heal / cure someone when the only reward for that is a lost customer / consumer?...that is why it is such a conflict of interests to even visit a shrink...they too want to keep you on their income sheet forever...it used to be considered unethical to keep someone coming to you longer than necessary...but now it is the 'smart' thing to do...as long as the ins co keeps paying...you can add the cancer society and TB society too...i donated as a kid in elementary school...and am sure that if we can put a man on the moon a cure could be found by today, if we really wanted to...lol...(born in 1951).And for the director of these organizations, it is job security...at a nice salary w/ a nice expense account...duh!--- On Tue, 1/5/10, Donna <dscroggs44646 wrote:Donna <dscroggs44646Re: {Herbal Remedies} I need an opinion (or two) :)herbal remedies Date: Tuesday, January 5, 2010, 10:49 AMAre they promoting natural remedies also? I am not a big believer in supporting causes when money is involved for instance, My daughter has Cerebral Palsy and is 30 yrs. oldHow many times do you think the UCP helped her??? Zero!!!!SoI don't contribute to any cause or organization any more, I'd rather find a person or family needing help or even a homeless person and offer money to them if I had it instead of these big organizations that are researching so called cures.I called our local headquarters and also the national one when my daughter lived at home with me and point blank asked them the question as to why my daughter wasn't ever helped by them and both answers were basically the same, monies go to research and management and also the main person in charge, sitting behind his desk, taking calls for benefits, fund raisers and dinner meetings.Maybe if there is some way to start your own fund raisers for natural cures and remedies for MS would be a better alternative if you could! I think that would make you feel more positive about it.Just my 2 cents!Donna ACS> Hi Everyone,> So heres the story.
