I am one of the few in this area who practices the Solstice and one thing I do (even when I'm broke) is slip flowers on the trees or a fresh exotic fruit into the houses of my friends on Solstice eve. Flowers to remind the 'fearful' that there will be Beauty again even though the Dark is the current ruler. I don't think the ones whose house keys I have, are really sure if it is me or not........ it is a good giggle. The best part is when I see the smiles on their faces as they give the flowers a 'sniff' and hear them say " Spring will come, it Will come. " or " Oh, I needed that.
