Dear C4L Member,

 

While millions across the country gather with family and friends on Christmas Eve, the Senate may be working overtime to take away even more of our freedoms by voting on Harry Reid's health care scheme.

 

Campaign for Liberty activists from across the country have been burning up the phone lines in key states to alert thousands of Americans to this threat, but every liberty-minded person across America needs to call their senators immediately and repeatedly.

You see, I'm afraid the media is doing the bidding of the Senate leadership and the White House by giving the impression this fight is over with the corrupt deals cut in the last few days.

 

As you probably know, Senate Democrats like Joe Lieberman and Ben Nelson who were holding out have apparently been bought off with our tax dollars.

 

But no matter what Democrat leadership wants you to think, this battle is far from over. There are several things Senate Republicans can and must do to delay a Senate vote until the last minute this week -- and force Congress to go home without passing a final version through both houses.

 

First, there are a couple more procedural votes in the coming days that require 60 senators to pass, including a cloture vote on debating the overall bill. Secondly, even if the Reid bill passes, it only takes one Republican legislator to filibuster and delay sending conferees to the joint House and Senate conference to resolve differences between the two chambers.

 

Such tactics could push this debate further into the New Year and provide us with more time to take action. And fellow Patriots, it is by no means assured that the House and Senate bills - which are vastly different in key areas - can be reconciled.

 

But for now, we must focus on doing everything we can to stop the Reid bill before it clears the Senate. Then we can go into the Congressional recess knowing that we are in for the fight of our lives to stop the House and Senate from agreeing on a bill to send to President Obama's waiting pen.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

I am neither a Democrap nor a Repooplican (sorry, but when you are

constantly preaching cleansing it shows in most conversations). 

Kimberly said, "Wow, you must have health coverage".  That statement

also is off the mark.

I have never had traditional health coverage.  I don't believe in it !

! !  Period ! ! !  I believe the best health insurance there is, is to

be fully knowledgeable so that a person can take full responsibility

for the health of themselves and their family's.  I believe that others

should have this same right and not be forced to pay for those who are

stupid enough or ignorant enough not to realize they are the causative

factor in their own life and who feel that the Government can do no

wrong, and that everything is fine and that these aren't the Droids

you're looking for. 

I have never voted Repooplican nor have I ever voted Democrap.  I have

always voted 3rd party, and not always the same one.  I vote for those

individuals who forward Freedom, and who support the Constitution of

the United States of America which is one of the most perfect documents

there is.  The Poops and the Craps are no longer operating off of the

Constitution.  Period ! ! !

This is no longer a question of party politics.  Those days are long

gone.

It IS a question of the fact that the Constitution is being destroyed.

Oh and BTW I do NOT have any health coverage not even Medicaid - I don't

qualify because the state I live in does not pay for adults. I have not been

to a Dr in years (other than Doc on here)

My teeth are rotting out and I cannot afford a dentist. I am still very much

I am with you on this Doc. This is not a party issue .Both parties have

betrayed their oath of office .I will forgive those who have if they

stand against this bill now.

This bill is a complete take over of the health care field in the guise

of providing health care to those who are in need. It is a diabolically

clever way to eliminate alternative health .

One only needs to read the bill to see this.

While millions across the country gather with family and friends on

Christmas Eve, the Senate may be working overtime to take away even

more of our freedoms by voting on Harry Reid's health care scheme.

 

Campaign for Liberty activists from across the country have been

burning up the phone lines in key states to alert thousands of

Americans to this threat, but every liberty-minded person across

America needs to call their senators immediately and repeatedly.

You see, I'm afraid the media is doing the bidding of the Senate

leadership and the White House by giving the impression this fight is

over with the corrupt deals cut in the last few days.

 

As you probably know, Senate Democrats like Joe Lieberman and Ben

Nelson who were holding out have apparently been bought off with our

tax dollars.

 

But no matter what Democrat leadership wants you to think, this battle

is far from over. There are several things Senate Republicans can and

must do to delay a Senate vote until the last minute this week -- and

force Congress to go home without passing a final version through both

houses.

 

First, there are a couple more procedural votes in the coming days that

require 60 senators to pass, including a cloture vote on debating the

overall bill. Secondly, even if the Reid bill passes, it only takes one

Republican legislator to filibuster and delay sending conferees to the

joint House and Senate conference to resolve differences between the

two chambers.

 

Such tactics could push this debate further into the New Year and

provide us with more time to take action. And fellow Patriots, it is by

no means assured that the House and Senate bills - which are vastly

different in key areas - can be reconciled.

 

But for now, we must focus on doing everything we can to stop the Reid

bill before it clears the Senate. Then we can go into the Congressional

recess knowing that we are in for the fight of our lives to stop the

House and Senate from agreeing on a bill to send to President Obama's

waiting pen.

Sandy this isn't a football game where we cheer on our team dem or rep. This bill sucks in plain English. If you are unaware of that fact, you really need to do research on your own. This is not an issue that has any "sides" other than the government yet again screwing you over. Dear C4L Member,

 

While millions across the country gather with family and friends on Christmas Eve, the Senate may be working overtime to take away even more of our freedoms by voting on Harry Reid's health care scheme.

 

Campaign for Liberty activists from across the country have been burning up the phone lines in key states to alert thousands of Americans to this threat, but every liberty-minded person across America needs to call their senators immediately and repeatedly.

You see, I'm afraid the media is doing the bidding of the Senate leadership and the White House by giving the impression this fight is over with the corrupt deals cut in the last few days.

 

As you probably know, Senate Democrats like Joe Lieberman and Ben Nelson who were holding out have apparently been bought off with our tax dollars.

 

But no matter what Democrat leadership wants you to think, this battle is far from over. There are several things Senate Republicans can and must do to delay a Senate vote until the last minute this week -- and force Congress to go home without passing a final version through both houses.

 

First, there are a couple more procedural votes in the coming days that require 60 senators to pass, including a cloture vote on debating the overall bill. Secondly, even if the Reid bill passes, it only takes one Republican legislator to filibuster and delay sending conferees to the joint House and Senate conference to resolve differences between the two chambers.

 

Such tactics could push this debate further into the New Year and provide us with more time to take action. And fellow Patriots, it is by no means assured that the House and Senate bills - which are vastly different in key areas - can be reconciled.

 

But for now, we must focus on doing everything we can to stop the Reid bill before it clears the Senate. Then we can go into the Congressional recess knowing that we are in for the fight of our lives to stop the House and Senate from agreeing on a bill to send to President Obama's waiting pen.

I am a Canadian Social Democrat. I do not mind having some aspects of society run by government, though I do desire freedom of choice in health issues.

I sincerely wish Obama well, but this particular bill as far as I can tell is a give-away

to the insurance companies and to Big Pharma. It deserves to be defeated.

Talk about buy offs, check out Bill Nelson of Florida. 30 Billion! Allocated to only 3 counties in Florida!. I don’t know who I’m more angry with Congress or the sheeple with their heads in the sand and don’t even call or write their Congress! Talk about sheeple!. You know what I got for Christmas? A framed copy of the Declaration of Independence. Read the last line if you haven’t read it in a while. It says it all.

 

I urge everyone to keep the pressure on. It can still be stopped. The administration is going to make it sound like it’s over. But it isn’t, not until the final reconciled bill is voted on.

I also think we should keep tabs on all those politicians who DO

vote for ObamaCare and make a concerted effort to get these guys

removed from office in any further elections.

They have shown their colors. They are Traitors to the US Constitution

and the American People. We need to take this country back and get rid

of the Psychs, Big Pharma and the International Bankers behind them

once and for all. The first step is to defeat this bill. This is the

battle that will decide the final outcome. Will America become FREE

once again, or will it finally slide into a 1984 Brave

New World Order ??? The choice is yours my friends.
