Guest guest
Patti, It is a little hard to answer until I know how many ounces of pressed tincture you have left. If after letting it macerate for two weeks and straining it you are left with 8 oz of tincture liquid , you would add one to two oz of tumeric tincture. Email me when you get to the point of having liquid tincture left and tell me how many ounces AND which ingredients you put in it and I can be more exact. Mary Patti Zane wrote: Hello... I have all ingredients to make total tonic except the turmeric. I have purchased turmeric tincture and will use that instead. My question is this. How much tincture should I use, as all the other ingredients are of equal value. Also have powdered if that is easier to calculate. Do I put it in at end after it sits for two weeks, or with all the other ingredients when first made. Sorry for all the questions, but I do want to put the turmeric in this formula, and no fresh turmeric anywhere, including whole foods store. Thanks you Patti
Guest guest
Mary.. I also have some organic powdered turmeric. How about I use that when I blend in all the other ingredients,vs. tincture. I will use equal amounts of all the other ingredients, let us say one cup of each ingredient. If I do this way, how much powdered turmeric will I need? I can't wait to try this formula. Thank you, Mary. Guest guest
Hi, I am wondering if I've missed something (namely, the tumeric) as an update or something when I've made the Total Tonic 3 diff. X now. I have 2 gal. of the mix, in other words I've not drawn off just the liquid. I figured it would keep strength anyway and so far as using the mash, I could do that with various recipes anyway. However, my recipe did not call for tumeric! I got it from copy/paste of emails Doc wrote with the White Salsa & then using it for Total Tonic but tumeric is not listed. The email copy/paste I have is: WHITE SALSA Nature´s Anti-biotic 1/3 cup raw Garlic cloves 1/3 cup raw White Onion 1/3 cup raw Horseradish 1/3 cup raw Ginger Root 1/2 cup raw Apple Cider Vinegar 1/8th Hot Pepper cut-1/8th pepper or to taste Do not stir with a silver spoon. Mixture will turn green. Peel garlic cloves and put them in a blender. Peel and cut onion in half and then into quarters and toss into blender. Wash horseradish and ginger root and cut 1/4 inch circles and place in blender. Toss in the piece of hot pepper and pour the apple cider vinegar over the blender contents and blend to a thick applesauce consistency. Add more apple cider vinegar if needed to blend. Should your salsa end up too watery, then strain off some of the vinegar and use it on a salad. Do not allow this mixture to contact silver. Store in a pint jar. Refrigeration is not required but you can keep it in the fridge if you like it cold. Eat as a condiment or dip. A number of people have told me they really like to use it as a salad dressing. Some of you who have made Total Tonic will recognize this recipe. Yes this is nature´s anti-biotic as well as a delicious food. Its anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, and anti-viral properties will keep you healthy and if you do feel an illness coming on, we recommend taking a spoonful of White Salsa every hour until your symptoms have disappeared. To make Total Tonic follow the above recipe except pour the apple cider vinegar just over the top of the blender contents and blend. Your Total Tonic will be the thickness of a thin gravy. Put the Total Tonic in a jar and shake several times a day for 14 days. At the end of the 14 days, you can strain off the liquid and you have Total Tonic. Whenever possible, make your Total Tonic on a New Moon and press it on a Full Moon. This practice is an ancient one and ensures the most potent results. I personally think that this particular formula is stronger when it is first made and mellows with age. We recommend that you have at least a pint on hand at all times so make it often! Back to top Reply to sender | Reply to group | Reply I was just looking back at some other old emails and saw that there was one where tumeric was listed (in conversation) and which I put my 2 cents in on getting some tumeric or whatever, apparently not registering at that time about the different ingredients in Total Tonic with mine not including tumeric. Would the lack of tumeric have anything to do with a continuing cough we maintain, which I suspect now is possibly mold in the house yet from repairs made several months ago .. or from a cough I've read something about re. congestive heart failure. I do not know if that is such a thing, and if so if that's maybe what I've got that the Total Tonic isn't "curing". My husband has a cough too which at times seems the same, thus I think it may be a mold. (He had pneumonia twice earlier this year). I did start just taking some Diatomaceous Earth yesterday, dry, rather than with liquid, reasoning that if it is a fungus/mold of some kind then that might help dry it up. Why would one get a cough with CHF? Should I add tumeric now to the finished Total Tonic I made from the email version? There is ALWAYS a "BETTER WAY"! WE can find & make ITa "Cradle for Humanity"!
