Guest guest
Hi, What can I do to heal cracked cuticles, please? Have those little flaps of skin coming up around them that catch on everything then become inflamed, and my fingertips are very dry and rough as well. I sew a lot (which is part of the problem) and recently bought sewing gloves so I can handle the fabric better without snagging it, but those leave the pinky and ring fingers free and they've become very dry and painful after my last marathon sewing session. Any advice would be appreciated, thank you! Barbara
Guest guest
I rub in coconut oil or olive oil on mine! I also take vitamin E. Guest guest
Wow! Couldn't get to the store in time to get tea tree oil, but approximated Doc's recipe from the files by mixing together small amounts of the rest of the ingredients from commercial preparations which I had on hand, along with coconut oil. My fingers were really sore when I massaged it in, but because of the nature of the commercial ointments I used, it was too greasy to leave on and I washed it off after 20 minutes. That was pretty much all it took. Just looked down and was really surprised to see that the skin on my fingers seems to be healed. One cuticle is still a little rough but yesterday it was in tatters, so this an amazing improvement. THANK YOU! herbal remedies , Mary Ostrowski <mary wrote: > > Barbara, > Doc's Herbal First Aid Salve is the fastest healing salve around. > Mary > > > Lady B wrote: > > > > > > Hi, > > > > What can I do to heal cracked cuticles, please?
