Guest guest
Doc, remember I actually tried the TBC and incurables and came very close to being insulin free, but not quite. I actually went a day in a half without insulin during the TBC's 3rd week. It did not last long and I did everything as planned just about. I was not able to take the hot and cold therapy everyday because I am so temperature sensitive. I wonder if this may have been the missing link. I will try this again as I still have many of the herbs and tonics left, so I do not need to order too much more. I have been type 1 since 91 when I was 21, so its been almost half my life now. I am still willing to do anything to get rid of this whatever has attacked my poor pancreatic cells. I do have a few surmises as to how I may have became a diabetic. Guest guest
Doc, I want to thank you for your garlic suggestion to lower blood pressure. mine is/was running pretty close to 200/111 even on meds, which cause kidney problems, swelling, choking and gagging, vertigo, blurred vision, weakness and dizziness (to name just a few side effects.) i stopped taking bp meds a week ago, and my pressure did not raise any. exercise (walking) and TM works as well (for me) as the meds did. however using TM AND garlic, my BP went down to 179/90 a 21 point drop in both systolic and diastolic. and that in 1 day! woo hoo! i just may kick this problem yet! gratitude and blessings, jan
Guest guest
At this stage of the game, and if I were you, I'd cut them out altogether. Once the condition has been terminatedly handled, you might add a few of the sprouted grain products in as you mentioned below. Just realize, that these foods are what got you into the condition in the first place, and many people just shouldn't eat them at all. You need to determine if you're one of those people. My guess is that you are. I know it's tough as it requires a complete change of lifestyle that for most people who are in this category, they can never go back. One of those "tough love" situations with oneself. It's always easier to offer advice to another rather than to take it ourselves LOL. Anyway, you've been a champ so far, so I know you'll make it. What about bread and or pasta that I make myself from organic flour that I have made from sprouted wheat berries? Would that be okay to consume? Or do I need to just cut out all carbs no matter what? You're doing everything right, and just need to keep on the wagon. Even things like Maple Syrup, Honey, and Aguave can be a problem for a diabetic, so these should be used in strong moderation or better yet, not at all. Best is to get rid of the sweet tooth altogether ;o) Stick to your fresh, raw, and organic fruit for your sugar intake as these have all the enzymes necessary to process the sugar. Stevia is a goodie, but again keeps the sweet tooth habit going. Do your best to change your tastes over to spicy if you can = a lot more fun in the long run and much more interesting. LOL Also remember to stay away from bread and other simple carbs as best you can. Pasta is of course a total "No, no". Hugs, Doc Ian Shillington N.D. Guest guest
Hi Doc, From what I can gather as to what caused my type 1 diabetes, it can be either of a few things. I had the mumps when I was 17, and by 21 I broke out with this disease. I did read one time that the mumps virus can attack the pancreas. So I am guessing that eventually this virus, forget the name, may be responsible. Another possible cause could have derived from my years of depression as a teen. Depression can "depress" the immune system as well as the mind. And so my immune system may have gone "beserk" during my depressive years. It was attacking anything and thought that my own islets of langerhans had to go "walk the plank" so to speak. My 3rd culprit may have come from the military. I spent boot camp in the marine corps in the 1989. I did not make it however, (long story). I had a rough time and I may have caught a bug or parasite while in Camp pendleton in San Diego. Of couse, we also got our share of doses of vaccinations. And in mid 91 I started to suffer from the type 1 symptoms: weight loss, thirst, urination, hunger, fatique, iritation. It wasnt til November that I finally went to see a doctor because I really wasnt feeeling well, and the weight was coming off me like droplets of water. I was 21 years old and down to a mare 100 pounds. I blood sugar was 636 at the time. So these are my surmises as to how I became diabetic. However, can't change the past. I also want to ask you about your brain formula. I go to your online store and I do not see anyting written about it besides the fact that you have it for sale. Of all my hypoglycemia adventures I have suffered with this critter, I know my brain cells has been compromised to say the least. I have had blood sugars in the 20's many times. I have had night time seizures and paramedics had to be called to revive me with intravenous glycogen IV's. So you think your brain formular would also help my brain function better and strenghten my neurons or wake them up, which is needed anyways. Thanks, Robert --- On Tue, 10/27/09, Ian Shillington N.D. & #38 & #38 & #38 & #38 & #38#3535353540Retired & #38 & #38 & #38 & #38 & #38#3535353541 <Doc wrote: Ian Shillington N.D. & & & & & #3535353540Retired & & & & & #3535353541 <DocRe: {Herbal Remedies} Success Stories & Articlesherbal remedies Date: Tuesday, October 27, 2009, 10:38 AM I remember Robert.I'd like to hear those surmises )Bet it does have to do with diet.
