Guest guest
My teen daughter gets migraines a lot. I've tried getting her to take the body balance, nutrition, etc...she is very difficult and pretty much refuses to take them. I do have her on some teen vitamins, so at least I have her taking some, even tho she hates that as well. But in the meantime, when she does get a migraine, is there anything that will help the symptoms at the time? I want something that will hopefully work quickly, as she is in terrible pain and very sick. Any suggestions would be great. thank you, Robin
Guest guest
I've always read that headaches are an indicator of bowel troubles......Anella-"snickers2261" <long.robin"Herbal Remedies" <herbal remedies >Thursday, October 8, 2009 10:54:39 AM GMT -05:00 US/Canada Eastern{Herbal Remedies} Migraine Headaches My teen daughter gets migraines a lot. Guest guest
Robin, This is a hard one for sure. She has to handle the underlying reasons for the headaches - bowel health , crappy diet , hormone imbalance etc. If she takes the Pain and Headache formula at the onset it may handle it but there really is no substitute for handling the source. Guest guest
Raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar (organic of course) and cayenne pepper should help during a migraine. Some times migraines are caused by B vitamin deficiencies. Also does she eat enough protein? What kind of teen vits is she taking? Most vitamins are a waste of money so hopefully she's getting a quality one from a health food store. I only take raw vitamins. snickers2261 wrote: My teen daughter gets migraines a lot. Guest guest
Migraines are tricky things to deal with thay can be rebound head aches , stomach problems , hormone upsets but the 1st thing I'd encourage, is for her to drink lots of water rule of thumb is take her weight divide it in half and that's how many ounces she needs to drink daily , that is flavored waters and clear drinks . dehydration is a very big reason for head aches , she may out grow them , i know that doesn't help now but it gives hope PATRICIA AND ERNEST JONES Dip HM IF YOU ALWAYS DO ,WHAT YOU'VE ALWAYS DONE , YOU'LL ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU ALWAYS GOT , Here in AMERICA we still TRUST IN GOD , AMEN Mary Ostrowski <maryherbal remedies Sent: Thu, October 8, 2009 11:54:00 AMRe: {Herbal Remedies} Migraine Headaches Robin,This is a hard one for sure. Guest guest
....from one migraine sufferer to another, your daughter needs to take fever few. I take the capsules at the onset when the aura begins. It is the only thing I have found that works. God Bless Kris > My teen daughter gets migraines a lot.
