Guest guest
Know it sounds strange, but corn silk tea. Take a couple ears of corn (organic is best of course), remove the silk, place in 1 qt. of water and boil for a few minutes; strain out the silk, add honey if you have to and drink tea while it is warm. Drink several cups a day. Have used this for bladder, and kidney infections. Antia in TX Anyone know what might help? Thanks! Neysa

Guest guest
Hi Neysa, If you go the cranberry juice route, the key is pure. No added grape juice, sugars, etc. like in most cranberry juice. It must be 100% cranberry. Trader Joe's and most health food stores carry it. I use stevia as a sweetener 'cuz it's bitter stuff! Best is to take cranberry caps. You have to drink an awful lot of juice to do the trick and cranberry caps are a higher concentration faster. I really recommend Grapefruit Seed Extract (GSE) as a natural antibiotic. I've knocked out a bladder infection in the past with just a couple of doses of GSE. The stuff is remarkable! I like NutriBiotic. A $10 bottle will last forever and is handy to keep around the house. And, of course, lots and lots of pure water. Feel better. Those things are no fun at all! Michelle
Guest guest
A mix of vinegar and water 3 parts water, 1 part vinegar*, taken in sips around the clock for 24 hours will knock a bladder infection out, too... Curtail sugar, it feeds a bladder infection. C-M Start with 1/4 cup vinegar and 3/4 cup of water...

Guest guest
I always use the cranberry leaf extract (capsules) as I don't like cranberry juice and it always works for me. I usually take 5 capsules, 3 times a day for several days (I get almost immediate relief!) as soon as I feel one coming on (burning, sense of not emptying bladder, urgency, etc), and this never fails. I drink plenty of water with the capsules. Guest guest
I’ve only had one of these and hope I never have another. No fun. What worked instantly for me was squeezing about 2 lemons into a cup and drinking. Be sure to rinse your mouth with water, as the acid from oranges, lemons, limes, and grapefruit is what I understand causes most tooth decay. Also, apply yogurt directly to the outside area brings temporary relief. To get rid of it totally, in addition to what you are already doing, I bought some D-Mannose Powder at the health food store. D-Mannose Powder in cranberry juice works wonders almost instantly. Hope you’re feeling better. herbal remedies [herbal remedies ] On Behalf Of patricia jones Tuesday, October 06, 2009 11:35 AM herbal remedies {Herbal Remedies} bladder infection Besides cranberry juice , giving up suger and taking oreganol ( wild mediterranean mountain grown ) and garlic honey and drinking gallons of water is there anything else I should be taking ?? Guest guest
Are you having fl or cold symptoms? Just wondering because I could bet money that there is a virus going around that UTI's are one of the symptoms. Several people around here seem to be getting sick and about two or three days into it get a UTI. herbal remedies , " Debra Garrett " <debralgarrett wrote: > > I've only had one of these and hope I never have another.
