Guest guest
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy helps with brain injuries. I would definitely look into this. Lynne
Guest guest
My niece had a skin infection that turned into a septic infection in her blood. She was put on heavy antibiotics which didn't handle it. Then she went into labor at 32 weeks so she was put on magnesium and two doses of steroids to keep the baby in two weeks longer then they delivered him. He was ten pounds as she had gestational diabetes. Either the infections or the steroids or both attacked his brain and caused some damage. He is healthy in so many ways but has water on the brain and some mils brain damaged that's affected his muscle control. He's getting therapy twice a week to learn to walk (with ankle braces), lift things and to talk. I've heard of Ambrorose from Mannatech helping with cognitive function in CP kids. Anyone know of anything else that could help him? He's a delightful, smiling, happy little boy loved by everyone.
Guest guest
I know there are a lot of brain herbs, but the one that strikes me off the top of my head is vinca major (because it grows wild in my area and my native friend used it for her mother after her stroke). Perhaps you could do a little research and see if this is something you think might help him. herbal remedies From: rebeccawendelDate: Mon, 5 Oct 2009 23:37:35 +0000{Herbal Remedies} Seeking help for brain injured boy My niece had a skin infection that turned into a septic infection in her blood.
