Guest guest
Does anyone have any suggestions of what to take if I think I'm getting sick and stopped up? I took double amount of vit D3 today and have been " munching " on raw garlic yesterday & today. Is there anything else I can do? And what can I do for my sinuses specifically? Thanks very much in advance! Mar
Guest guest
Mar, Call Doc's office and get Echinacea Plus. You could knock the illness out pretty fast with this. Making Total Tonic for yourself would help also. Mary joulu24 wrote: Does anyone have any suggestions of what to take if I think I'm getting sick and stopped up? Guest guest
Al;l last year and already this year, we have used 1 tablespoon honey (from a beekeeper, preferrably) and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, taken twice a day for a minimum of 3 days seems to wipe out any colds. We have been able to stop colds dead using this simple remedy. A neice of mine was very sick and congested just 2-3 weeks ago, she tried this and it wiped it right out. The kids and I used this all last winter and never had a cold last more than 2 days. A few days ago I woke up congested in sinuses and had some phlegm. In 2 days all symptoms are gone and I no longer have cold symptoms of any kind. One daughter (just turned 19) has had problems with cold and lung issues her whole life as she had gotten an upper respitory infection when just 2 1/2 month sold, a shot of penecillin and antibiotics for 10 days (this back in 1990), and this year she's been doing the cinnamon/honey regimen daily to keep colds at bay as she is so prone to them. Last year she was able to go most of the winter with very little troubles. Hope this helps for you. We take once in morning, once at night. Guest guest
Hi Lori, Would this concotion work with food, before a meal, after a meal or does it matter? I love cinnamon and honey so this is not a problem for me to take. I am assuming honey and ginger would work the same too, since ginger is also anti viral and bacterial as well. Guest guest
Hi robert, I just take it in the morning with breakfast (usually shortly before I eat), and then again before I go to bed. I don't really think it matters. I never tried the ginger, but why not? As you say, ginger is also antibacterial and antiviral. I just know the cinnamon works for us. If you try the ginger, let me know it works, okay? Thanks.
