Guest guest
Most ulcers are caused by H. Pylori, a bacteria. The usual treatment is with Bismuth and an anti-biotic. My husband had an ulcer that he suffered with for a few years before he finally went to have it diagnosed (endoscopy). This was back in 1993. He took the treatments and they disappeared and so did all of his ailments associated with ulcers. My husband now drinks a probiotic yogurt daily and sometimes has fermented cabbage (sauerkraut) in order to keep his insides working properly. I would think that fermented foods would be a big help. Also garlic, if it can be tolerated raw.
