Guest guest
Hello, For about 2 weeks now I have had a rattle-y cough, producing a lot of phlegm. I think I got it because I started running about a month and a half ago and it was too hard to breath through just my nose and I could run farther when I just breathed out of my mouth. I got it right after one of my runs and it hasn't stopped even though I've not ran in almost a week. I have a lot of drainage which is giving me the phlegm, which has made me vomit a couple times trying to get it out (from gagging). I do not have a temperature and I'm fine other than the non stop coughing and phlegm. A couple of days ago before bed I did have a coughing fit that resulted in a stabbing pain on my left side in one of my ribs (prob. a dislocated rib.). It's very sore to the touch and my husband really wants me to go to the doctor (I go to a natueropath) because it annoys him so much and he thinks it should have gone away by now. The only reason I would consider going is because sometimes I can't stop the coughing and now my rib hurts a lot and I have had diarehea 2 x. I just figured it will work it's self out. Is there any herb that would stop the phlegm, that's just the grossest part for me?

Guest guest
So I went and got a chest x-ray and I have costochrotas (or something like that) which is inflammation of the cartalige of the ribs. I had to go to the urgent care because my Dr. told me I should have it checked out asap and I couldn't get in there for awhile. They gave me an rx for a z-pack anti biotics and a cough supressent and something for the inflammation. Should I take any of these incase is is viral? Or should I just down a bunch of raw garlic? Also what can I take for the pain in my ribs? Side note, I have had swollen lymph nodes behind my ear for about 2 years and I was wondering if I should take the anti biotics to take care of that as well since I've taken every detox and raw garlic etc for it? Guest guest
At this point , I would use Bone Flesh and Cartilage Formula , Lobelia for pain. Guest guest
There are a lot of things out there. For myself I have had a lot of good luck with Oil of Oregano P73 from North American Herb & Spice Co. I would get the 1oz bottle of super strength. You take two to three drops under your lounge three times a day. This stuff really works. A good book on this subject is "The Cure is in the Cupboard" Logman. ========================================== Mary Ostrowski wrote: At this point , I would use Bone Flesh and Cartilage Formula , Lobelia for pain.
