Someone told me that if you swish with a capful of hydrogen peroxide every day

that it will whiten your teeth (rather than have a dentist do it). Is this true

and if so how long should you swish it and how many times a day.

Hello, River, Anadæ here. I've used hydrogen peroxide & baking soda (equal parts) as a dentifrice paste to brush with, followed by a dilute salt water rinse, for decades. Never heard of that before, I will be carefully listening to any responses you get.  Google " oil pulling " and read up on it.. I do it (my favorite is organic coconut oil). My teeth feel great, they have definitely whitened up (but not as much as everyone on the oil pulling blogs would have you believe), and the little annoying aches and twinges that come with 50yr old teeth.. have disappeared completely.
