Guest guest
Someone told me that if you swish with a capful of hydrogen peroxide every day that it will whiten your teeth (rather than have a dentist do it). Is this true and if so how long should you swish it and how many times a day. Thanks! River
Guest guest
Hello, River, Anadæ here. I've used hydrogen peroxide & baking soda (equal parts) as a dentifrice paste to brush with, followed by a dilute salt water rinse, for decades. Although the concoction definitely slays oral baddies & prevents dental carries, the actual teeth-whitening attribute you so inquired about is, I'm afraid, minimal at best.Cheers,Anadæ --- On Sat, 8/29/09, river_willow76 <river_willow76 wrote:river_willow76 <river_willow76{Herbal Remedies} Hydrogen Peroxideherbal remedies Date: Saturday, August 29, 2009, 7:42 AM Someone told me that if you swish with a capful of hydrogen peroxide every day that it will whiten your teeth (rather than have a dentist do it). Guest guest
Never heard of that before, I will be carefully listening to any responses you get. Google " oil pulling " and read up on it.. I do it (my favorite is organic coconut oil). My teeth feel great, they have definitely whitened up (but not as much as everyone on the oil pulling blogs would have you believe), and the little annoying aches and twinges that come with 50yr old teeth.. have disappeared completely.
