Guest guest
Believe it or not! The best thing for extreamly oily hair, is oil. YUP! Hot oil treatment, after vigerous brushing for no less then 15 min. Making sure each oil gland is fully stimulated. The hot oil should be left on hair for 1/2 hr under dryer or in the Sun which is prefered. Then wash with natural blend shampoo from good resource , preferably with spring water, no chlorine. The process acts like a balancing act for out of wack sabaceous glands. Each hair has an oil gland that needs stImulation to function Properly. It also nurishes the hair outside of your scalp. If you make it your routine, don,t be surprized to see some new growth on the q-ball. Marvin " The Haircutter and Cosmetologist " . He is stripping his hair of all the natural oils and it sounds to me like it's trying to overcompensate for it being stripped away. I use to have very oily hair, had to wash every other day. That was when I used shampoo. The shampoo is a detergent that strips the hair of the oils and then you have to use conditioner to put the oil/moisture back. Chemical shampoo and conditioner is a sham. I can go several days now without my hair looking oily. He will probably go through a very icky stage when he stops using detergent on his hair... He might want to try just a little baking soda to start with. Rub it in good, rinse it good and use a vinegar and water rinse. If the vinegar solution is weak he doesn't have to rinse much after that, but if he gets too much vinegar it will have a greasy look to it. I personally just use a tiny bit of borax on the top of my head and just kind of work it down my hair with the water. I don't ball all my hair on top of my head. I mean.. how dirty can your hair get on the average? But after the borax, I use the vinegar rinse. Guest guest
Further, The hair follicle is the birthplace of each hair on the body. Each follicle has a sabaceous and a suderiferous gland. The sab. Being the oil and the sud. Being the sweat. Both are essential in healthy hair. They get their production sisnals from enternal and external atmospheres. Dry or acidic conditions will cause the oil to flow more. Drinkink alcohol, for example will cause the toxin to be eliminated onto the skin, thus acidic condt. I said all of this to give you the idea of how the system works. Guest guest
Tell him to back off meat (if he eats its). His body is over compensating for something it sounds like. Meat can be really hard on some peoples system and the oil can be his bodies way of trying to deal with this. He should also have his thyroid checked...it could be hyper-. Also cut out hair products and use apple cider vinegar as a rinse. He could also drink raw organic apple cider vinegar to balance his PH which might help. patricia jones <siamesecat1953 herbal remedies Mon, Aug 24, 2009 8:17 pm {Herbal Remedies} ] greasy hair and skin Hi Friends I have a male friend who's greasy hair is getting worse through the years , he is now 57 and not out growing this grease problem, and claims it's getting worse to the point within 12 hrs the grease starts running outa his hair into his ears ,eyes, and back of neck , his skin is not excessively greasy but his hair is . all I can suggest is a dandruff shampoo , he tried dawn dish detergent that removed all the grease but it returned within 12 hours as bad as ever . he is now using alot of cheap shampoo any help would be appreciated , he does not eat any greasy food to the point he won't take fish oil so he is becoming oil deficient although i told him grease is not the cause , it doesn't seem to matter what he eats thanks Pat
