My 13 yo son has started developing acne. Is there something naturally we can

do? He is lactose intolerent so eats very little dairy except some hard cheeses.

I follow a low fat vegan diet although the rest of the family will occasionally

eat some poultry, but not often. He uses witch hazel on his face after washing.

The acne is only on his face at this point. The dermatologist for my oldest son

said there was some heredity involvement as both my sister and father had severe

acne also. My oldest son had severe cystic acne and had to be on Accutane. I

don't want to go that route again.

I am a teenager who is still in the pimple stage but I found that a pealed clove of garlic that has been sliced and then the juice rubbed on your face at night works wonders for facial blemishes. (Bet you could have guessed, garlic is the cure for everything) :)

Try having him use an organic egg yolk twice daily on his skin. Beat the yolk, apply to face and let dry and stay on for about 20 minutes, then wash off with warm water and pat face dry. There is natural accutane in egg yolks (you can research this).

It may take about 30 days for him to see results, but this should work.

The egg whites can be saved to be used in recipes.

I would start him on a detox and I know you try to follow a vegan diet but omega 3 fish oils would help the inflammation. Also he should not be eating any soy as this can affect his hormones adding unnecessary estrogen. You could try calcium bentonite clay as a detox internally and topically to make it more manageable.
