cystic fibrosis

I'm not sure about herbs, but I have read several accounts of patients with

cystic fibrosis benefitting from fairly vigorous massage over the lung

fields, particularly from tapotement, almost to the point of pain, but

enough to increase circulation and loosen up some of the tissue, which I

understand sort of turns to cement over time. Sorry, but don't have any

info on specific herbs for this condition.

Dear Jeff,

The attached file contains some material on pulmonary fibrosis I translated

from a modern textbook of TCM respiratory medicine. It rather predictable,

but its a reasonable foundation. I've also included a section on sarcoidosis

because I've found the patterns in that disease category often overlap those

of cystic fibrosis. Sometimes those formulas are a better fit. Hope this is

marginally helpful.

hello all, i know a little girl suffering from cystic fibrosis, i'm trying to

gather some information on how to treat this disease, she is in and out of the

hospital, not going so well, anyhoo, i will forward any useful information to

the parents if they accept my nosing around for them, just feel like helping

out, thanks in advance, rik (the netherlands)
