Hmm, that is interesting. I took a look at the list and it seems the order is not determined by number of members, or years since started. I'm wondering if 's list order is determined by the number of clicks on the group site in a certain period of time. I know other sites like google and active rain order their lists by the number of clicks on the site. The clicks determine popularity and therefore are ordered by what they see as most frequently accessed.

 

I'm assuming other members use the emails as I do to keep informed, but do not take the time to go to the group site very often. I wonder if we are hurting the group's order placement on the list? Perhaps the recent rise is from your email prompting us to check out the site?

 

Just a few thoughts, Doc, it may simply be a matter of us trying to click on the group site more often. A change in site may just find the same ordering method (it seems a popular mode of ordering).

to vote for Herbal Remedies. BTW, there is another herbalremedies that

is one of the first ones listed with FIVE members.

Problem of ours. You guys are just the best and I love you all.

 

I will be away for the next couple of weeks on a special project down

in Central America, and Mary will be coordinating getting

straightened around. Another "groups site" to check out is "Ning" at:

Everyone seems to agree that we need to keep the site, but that

we need to branch out and link up, etc.

Regarding the “Voting for your Favorite

Group on ”, I thought it may be helpful to clarify a little more for

those who want to do so. Actually this link best_of_groups/post is

a that is set up to “feature” other “worthy”

. From what I understand you do not need to “join”

this group, but only submit a “vote” as to why you believe your

particular group should be “featured” or given special recognition.

 

So, anyone feeling to do so could “vote”

for herbal remedies .

It is helpful, once you to click “home” in the

upper right corner (above post) and they give further instructions as to what

they are up to and how one can submit a vote.

 

I see this as an opportunity to expose the

“mission” of Herbal Remedies to those who are truly struggling to

become healthy. Doc and Valorie have such life changing answers to so

much suffering out there. I think it is helpful to take a minute and pass

the word.

I guess I didn't clarify my words in the last post! I did not join the group you sent the email for; I voted for Doc's group as this is the one I love!

I followed the prompts from your email and also sent them a message to let them know how much I appreciate Doc and all he does. I also wrote about how much I learn from all the others on this forum. I truly enjoy this group! So many of you help to keep me informed on so many issues and then I pass this info on to most on my email list!

Thanks so much for answering since I was not very articulate about what I had done!
