Guest guest
Dear Werner In reply to your question what did I do, well basically the following: 1) This is what I feel was the most important step, I made a juice of carrots, celery, beetroot, cucumber, cabbage or whatever I had on hand and put it in a liquidiser, I then added some home made almond milk, two big heaped spoons of Docs total nutrition, some Goji berries, some raw cocoa nibs, some flaxseed , some organic raw coconut oil and anything else good that I have on hand ,blended it so I had about two pints or more, I drank one pint about 10 or 11 and kept the other for later, this really set my body up, I felt little hunger till late afternoon and then I had the second pint and I reaklly felt my body was giving a BIG sigh of relief and thanking me ! 2) I cut out all wheat (My body HATES wheat but I love it and we have been having a battle over this for years, with the body usually winning by making me feel dreadful after eating it)and most dairy, no refined sugar, no refined foods I take raw honey or agarve syrup in my tea. 3)cut out nearly all refined foods except on the weekend I have some of what I like, I dont beat myself up on this as I know 60-70% of the time I am eating SUPER foods and 20% ok foods so the other 10-20% is ok for me to eat what I feel like and it seems to work. 4) I eat everything raw when I can, I even made a raw chocolate cake it was great, the kids even loved it, I made Sushi without rice but grated carrots instead again the kids loved it, so raw can be fun and there are loads of sites on google and youtube on how to make raw food fun and not OH GOD ANOTHER GREEN SALAD! 5) When driving around I have a bag of raw veggies and fruit I like at hand incase I get hungry and eat that instead of stopping off for some junk 6) I got my bike out of the shed and started riding it ! IT was great hurtling down hills like a kid again, must admit going up the hills was not so fun, but it got the heart pumping and the lungs gulping in air. 7) Took general vits, fish oil;, garlic, hawthorn tea etc but feel the juice is giving me so much of what I need. Within days I could feel the preesure in my ears when I excerted myself had gone and I just felt the pressure was going down, I went through a bit of a detox for a few days and then felt great and do so now. I really believe the juice is very important it is sooo nourishing it kills hunger for rubbish foods and just gives the body what it needs to handle itself and it sounds funny but the body almost says to you "thankyou" Best Vince Vince Nash
