In general I'm averse to the idea but there are conditions it may be a good idea. The state of the mouth matters very much and many dentists automatically default to *need a root canal* without seeing the entire body as a whole. I have done a lot of searching on the net and there are many studies that provide evidence that root canals can cause cancer or provide a vehicle for relapse for those whom have been " cured " . Just do a search for root canals and cancer and you will bring up plenty.
