This is not true. Maryland currently has both medical and religious

exemptions. Find the form here:

Kay,

In the state of Georgia if the child attends federal or state funded

schools they have to have vaccination records to enter the school

system unless your doctor writes a letter to the effect there is a

medical reason for not vaccinating the child and you won't find many

who will sign that letter or the letter another member suggested to

have the doctor sign stating that as a medical practitioner he more or

less guaranteed there would be no adverse reactions from the

vaccinations. So the law says you have to educate your child and if you

can't home school them or afford a private school you have to vaccinate

them.

I personally with hindsight wish I had never put my children in public

shcools and had them vaccinated but especially wish my grandkids hadn't

taken the shots. There are more shots added every year and I have 6

that will have to take the flu shot or quit school or I will home

school them if they pass this BS.

I took their flu shot when I was in the Air Force basic but haven't

taken one since; I was sick as a dog after taking them and getting

through basic training was had enough.

What about the people that are not religious? About the medical reason - we all know very well that no doctor will sign that if there is no medical condition.

You're right, it's not good enough to only have religious and medical

exemptions. Go to http://mdvaccinechoice.wordpress.com/

to help Maryland get a philosophical exemption.

You don't have to be religious at all. I typed my own statement which says:

"I believe that the force which created our bodies would not want them damaged. I also believe that vaccines are damaging substances, and should not be injected into the bodies of my children."

the end. Not "religious" at all really. You could interpret "the force that created our bodies" to mean the universe, Allah, The Judeo-Christian God , Ra the sun god...whatever. Anella

Kay,In the state of Georgia if the child attends federal or state funded schools they have to have vaccination records to enter the school system unless your doctor writes a letter to the effect there is a medical reason for not vaccinating the child and you won't find many who will sign that letter or the letter another member suggested to have the doctor sign stating that as a medical practitioner he more or less guaranteed there would be no adverse reactions from the vaccinations. So the law says you have to educate your child and if you can't home school them or afford a private school you have to vaccinate them.I personally with hindsight wish I had never put my children in public shcools and had them vaccinated but especially wish my grandkids hadn't taken the shots. There are more shots added every year and I have 6 that will have to take the flu shot or quit school or I will home school them if they pass this BS.I took their flu

shot when I was in the Air Force basic but haven't taken one since; I was sick as a dog after taking them and getting through basic training was had enough.Susan in Gaherbal remedies, "kay" <kay wrote:>> Vaccinations are NOT mandatory in the United States.> > Doctors and school officials try to sell that bs but it isn't true.>

Agreed. My religion does not preclude vaccines; but I did religious exemptions for vaccinating my children, since I am of a firm belief that vaccinations were a major contributor to my son's autism. And I don't believe that injuring my children is a good idea. Therefore, it is against my beliefs to damage my children.QED Douglas Greene greenedo"The government's view of the economy can be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. It doesn't matter what your religion or non religion is. It is

against pretty much everyones beliefs to hurt children be you

Catholic, Bhuddist, agnostic or purple.

Exactly. It is often NOT NECESSARY to lie on those forms, especially if you are typing your own statement. However, I have no qualms about lying to people or an organization whose main goal is to harm my children.
