You're welcome HonA bulb of Garlic that still has its leaves (you can actually braid these together = where the term a braid of Garlic comes from) will last over a year if stored in a cool dark place.A bulb left out on a counter can last up to several months, but kept in a warm room may last only 3 months. A bulb that has been separated into its respective cloves will most likely last for only about a month, two at the most and only a couple of weeks if the area is warm and moist. The best way I know of preserving Garlic is to chop it up finely, and then dehydrate it. It'll last for just about forever if you do it this way.The only way that's better than that is to tincture it as we do in Total Tonic. TT is the ultimate ;o)Hugs,DocCJ Fox wrote:

Thanks for the advice Doc. Need a lil info on garlic. I am not in a position to grow my own(live in a condo) Do you have any idea how long garlic bulbs will last that I buy at the co-op(organic) and what the best means of storage is for already purchased garlic bulbs?

thank you so much

Dear All,Have no idea whether or not this is just another Anthrax, SARS, Bird Flu hoax or not. Could also be a NWO set-up for worse to come.Rather than get all worried and bent out of shape about it, just make sure you've got plenty of Echinacea and Garlic on hand. Also, I've been getting quite a few reports from many different sources lately that proclaim Vitamin D is essential to handling Flus of all types as well. Don't forget your Vitamin C as well. Soooooooo, keep your Herbal Medicine Kit well stocked. Keep plenty of vitamins on hand, and never forget that Russian Penicillin (Garlic ;o).Yours in Knowledge, Health, and Freedom,Doc

No. You have to tincture

Garlic in either alcohol or Apple Cider Vinegar.

Best,

Doc
