Guest guest
I propose that this is more truthful, comprehensive and accurate wording to address the members of congress..plain citizens elected to do a job at the people's invitation. Dear congressperson, Regarding this bill. ( H.R. 45 /Blair Hold Firearm Lic.....) It is an obscenity and a shameful act of contempt by congress against the American People. In my opinion, and that of millions of free, law abiding, and patriotic American Citizens, the passage of this or any similar instrument would in fact be the commission of a crime by congress against the American people. It is NOT THE PURPOSE OR LEGITIMATE FUNCTION of congress or any one in the congress to steal, obscure, attenuate, or otherwise remove by anti constitutional practices of intimidation ANY CONSTITUTIONALLY GUARANTEED RIGHT OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. Should you pass this or any similar bill you will be guilty of treason and will forthwith be removed from office. It should be helpful for you to remember that YOU serve the American People at our request invitation, and permission, and We The People never have and never shall serve you. Such proposals as h.r. 45 are at best obscene mininterpretations of the rights of the American People, the limits of power of govt. and the reality of who govt officials temporarily derive their conditional authority from. You seem to have long forgotten that We The People are never to be in awe of elected officials.Being an elected person does in fact not make them " honorable " . Actions and intentions alone do that for any individual regardless of their position in life. Elected officials are granted a privilege to serve at the invitation of the people, and are always subject to being removed by the people via recall, prosecution for crimes or gross incompetence or removal by election . Legislative abuses of power are crimes against the people . This proposed and lawless law reminds the silent strong majority of American Citizens of the outrages committed against the people by Janet Reno and co. at Ruby Ridge Id. and Waco Texas. In bringing this shameful doccument up for a vote you demonstrate your failure to understand, or respect our basic inviolable freedoms. Further, by bringing it to the floor for a vote you will have brought yourselves to a lower point of shame. This is a perfect example of why WE THE PEOPLE hold the congress in such deep and well deserved contempt. There is among the vast majority of the American People grave doubt in your collective will or abilitiy to redeem yourselves. Even the most secure members may be brazenly incapable of understanding that We The People can remove you from office lawfully and absolutely at any time. The career of Tom Foley is a perfect example of just that fact. Foley LIED to the people, broke his word and voted for the absurd Brady Bill. HE was thrown uncermoniously OUT. Guest guest
Mike, The part about Kennesaw is basically what I wrote in a blog on one of the media sites. My hubby won't let a gun in the house because of what happened with his mother and step dad. My son is taking care of mine for me until I need it; I know, I can't use it if it isn't here but for the present I don't need it; it can be in my hands within 15 minutes. Why shouldn't we have guns; every drug pusher and crazy drug addict has them illegally and will use them for the chance they can get their next high. And no I will not hesitate to pull the trigger if my loved ones are in danger; their lives are more valuable to me than the life of someone with no conscience who is trying to do harm to them. It's like the sheriff told Mama years ago, if they break into your home and try to do you harm shoot and we'll talk about it after, I'd rather that than investigate your death. I registered but couldn't find a place to sign the petition. Besides sending emails and calling my congressmen, how do I get my name on the petition?
