Guest guest
Bryan, When you refer to "cloves" do you mean the pieces of the whole cluster....or do you mean 3 entire clusters? Guest guest
A clove of garlic is the piece that you can break out of the whole chunk which is called the bulb. Each garlic you see in the store is a whole bulb. Within each bulb are pieces that you can peel off, which are the cloves of garlic. I hope this answers your question. Robert, who needs to get back on the garlic regimen. --- On Tue, 4/7/09, Tara Hoffman <tara_hoffman wrote: Tara Hoffman <tara_hoffmanRe: {Herbal Remedies} Cholesterolherbal remedies Date: Tuesday, April 7, 2009, 10:43 AM Bryan, When you refer to "cloves" do you mean the pieces of the whole cluster....or do you mean 3 entire clusters? Guest guest
Being just a little person (95 lbs, tops) I don't eat much! Fruits, veggies, I went right back to eating pasta and whole grain bread after my blood test! I still indulge in a meat and cheese sandwich once in a while. I eat very little at one time. I find it hard to get through one banana! And that will last me from breakfast to dinner. I have been eating this way my whole life, and am extremely healthy. Thank God!Although I actually got over 100 lbs once! I worked in a breakfast cafe and it took a whole year, but I did it!Trina --- On Sat, 4/4/09, faraway_c <faraway_C wrote: faraway_c <faraway_CRe: {Herbal Remedies} Cholesterolherbal remedies Date: Saturday, April 4, 2009, 1:09 AM Hi Trina and all, what do you eat for staple food to keep you full?I'm just diagnoised with high cholestrol and diabeties..any herbal or natural recommandation in an effort to teel clear those drugs? Many thanks, scherbal remedies, Trina <miiitymous@ ...> wrote:>> I lowered my cholesterol by not eating bread, pasta, rice, and cereal. I do not think I will like that though. LOL, Once in a while I will eat some celery, but not enough to have an impact on my cholesterol. I am just not too crazy about celery. I also wanted to mention flax seed as a good food source to lower LDL. I also wanted to mention before that I remember years ago that the normal limit for cholesterol was 240. I think that was the number. Now it is 200. I think that this way the medicos can write up more prescriptions for zocor, lipitor, etc and make more money. I think a cholestrol of 240 is not high. As long as your HDL, the good one, is a above 60, as mine is. I am not going to loose any sleep over my 256. My doctor almost had a heart attack himself after seeing what my cholesterol was. > > Robert> > > --- On Mon, 3/30/09, Mercurius Trismegistus <magisterium_ magnum (AT) comcast (DOT) net> wrote:> > > Mercurius Trismegistus <magisterium_ magnum (AT) comcast (DOT) net>> Re: {Herbal Remedies} Cholesterol> herbal remedies> Monday, March 30, 2009, 4:55 PM> > > > Have you tried celery juice?> > > > > > - > Robert Nodge > herbal remedies > Friday, March 27, 2009 4:30 PM> Re: {Herbal Remedies} Cholesterol> > > > > > > There are a few things, but results will vary with people. My last cholesterol check a few weeks ago was 256. The lowest it ever was beeen was 212. This runs in my family on both sides, left and right. No matter what I do, it wont come down to normal, or normal according to the doctors. > > Garlic, fiber rich foods, foods with omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, a good amount of fresh fruits and veggies, avoid sat and trans fats. > > Robert> > > --- On Thu, 3/26/09, Chris <mynamemommy@ > wrote:> > > Chris <mynamemommy@ >> {Herbal Remedies} Cholesterol> herbal remedies> Thursday, March 26, 2009, 2:32 PM> > > What herbal natural miracles can help lower this?
