Guest guest
Going to Southern Africa was quite a trip. I had a wonderful time studying animals and plants. The arid land is full of Cape Aloe and other medicinal plants. The native natural healers ( san go ma ) are the real deal and have generations of knowledge on herbs. Studying African herbs has opened my eyes to yet another world of magical medicinal plants. The large corporations really have their fingers in every pie. I saw Mc Donald's, KFC, Burger King, Monsanto's franken food and of course Coca Cola company's criminal products. Africans dress in blue jeans and go home to big screen TVs. The poor are rounded up and stuck in government constructed slums and the middle class fence themselves in self constructed prisons for a feeling of false security. Razor wire, walls topped with electric fences and barbed wire are a common sight. I saw many Ostrich, Rhino, Spring Bok, Giraffe, Zebra and Elephants but only in the National Parks and wildlife reserves. The oceans are cold; the beaches are the most beautiful I have ever seen. Much nicer then those of California, Oregon or Florida. Soil in general is poor and water shortage restricts growing potential. If you own land you do not own the water. Government law states " The water belongs to the people not the landowner " and the government can break dams or install a pump in any water resource without permission from the land owner. Crops are irrigated and heavily sprayed by plane or tractor. The pesticides almost wiped the National Bird ( the Blue Crane ) but their numbers are increasing now. This crane is gorgeous and I had the divine pleasure of seeing some. So I'm back from Africa and will be answering questions when I'm not in Manufacturing. Love and Health to all on Herbal Remedies. ~B
