Guest guest
Are they safe? i don't know. Its supposed to be a mix of tea and herbs.... soooo... Are they effective? the jury is still out. I have been using them for a bit.The only thing i can say at this point is that when you wear them all night. There IS some kind of icky greenish discharge on the pad, when you pull it off in the morning. Two months into it, and i haven't noticed major changes but that's me. YMMVOther than being acidic, i don't THINK i have any Major toxins in my body... Guest guest
Just my opinion but while nursing, I would keep therapies to a minimum, even natural ones. I would eat the best foods I could get my hands on, I would exercise (take baby for walks) regularly, drink good water and avoid all fake foods. Guest guest
Jasmina, Where did you send them for analysis? What kind of heavy metals did they find? I looked into the footpads about two years ago, and the active ingredient was a wood alcohol. Whereas your feet have a lot of sweat glands and many toxins do settle in the foot area, I tend to believe the train of thought that it is not removing toxins from the body, but just from the base of your feet. I read many sides of the story and finally purchased a box for myself. I put tap water on one and let it sit. I used one on my foot and one under my knee overnight. All three pads looked exactly the same the next day, brownish. I then used distilled water on one and it didn't turn as dark as the other three, but it did get a tan color. There are no toxins in distilled water that I am aware of, so I don't understand why they turned a color at all. I used the rest of the box on my feet, and continued to get the brown color, but didn't experience any changes in my over all health or well being. I soak my feet in 1 quart of hydrogen peroxide with a cup of Epsom salts for 30 minutes, once a week. That works wonderfully for me.
