I harvest local ones here in Southern Interior B.C.

Canada. They are abundant, I have a volunteer in the

garden who has been given notice of severe pruning

to come.

Meanwhile the Strauss family enterprise that makes

the famous Strauss Heart Drops* is importing shiploads

of berries from Germany. Someone actually did research

to compare the two.

Guess what, the local variety is at least as good.

And the tincture tastes delicious!

Sorry, I have no idea!

I just harvest the ones that grow on my own acreage for my own use, with the occasional under the radar sale at the farmers market. I tincture flowering tops in May, fresh berries in August, and put them together at some point.

Where do you live again? Try Googling.
