Guest guest
I have never heard of almonds being used for this, but I have heard of Non GMO Lecithin being used to strip the arteries and veins of plaque and cholesterol. L e c i t h i n If you were to go and do a Google Search on this great supplement, you’d get more technical terms per square inch than you could shake a stick at. However, this stuff is so important, I feel I should break it down for one and all so that it can be simply understood. Lecithin is a fat-like substance and is naturally produced by a healthy liver IF a person’s diet is composed of quality nutrients and IF they are not toxic. Lecithin is needed by, and is a key building block for every cell in the body. Without it, all cells harden and age. Lecithin protects cells from free radicals, and largely comprises that protective sheath which surrounds the Brain aiding in memory improvement. It is composed mostly of the B-Vitamins, Phosphoric Acid, Choline, Linoleic Acid and Inositol and also aids in the absorption of Vitamins A, D, & E. Although it is a fatty substance, it is also a fat emulsifier in that it can break up fat very quickly making it an essential supplement for those wishing to lose weight and to lower their cholesterol levels. Furthermore, Lecithin supports the entire circulatory system and helps to strengthen the heart and aids in the reversal of heart disease. It is a vital substance for the Brain and helps to keep us young by contributing to Human Growth Hormone production. There is not one organ in the body, including the all-important Liver and the Kidneys that doesn’t rely on Lecithin to help in its normal function. One of its greatest benefits, is that Lecithin helps to improve overall health immediately. Like alcohol it crosses the Blood-Brain barrier, making it very fast acting and an essential aid in any detoxification / cleansing program. Lecithin can be found naturally in Cabbage, Cauliflower, Green Beans, Chickpeas, Lentils, Soybeans, Corn, Split Peas, Calves Liver, Eggs, Grains, and Fish. SUCCESS STORY I went to my doctor with a High Blood Pressure problem and was told that I needed to have the plaque and cholesterol stripped from the arteries in my neck. However, the doctor told me that his machine was not currently operational and so I was scheduled to return in a month. The cost for this surgery was around $10,000 and I was scared to have it done, so I decided to walk around health food stores and ask people if they knew of anything that would help so I could avoid this operation. I was told that Lecithin would handle this condition so I began taking 2 Tablespoons of Lecithin every day. When I returned to my doctor’s office for my scheduled visit, the nurse re-examined me and said the doctor wasn’t going to be happy because I no longer had any plaque or cholesterol in my arteries and therefore did not need the operation. Needless to say I was thrilled. Sometimes there are such simple solutions and you just don’t know about them. L.L. – Florida The main problem in the past has been one of “Source” since almost all Lecithin on the market nowadays comes from Genetically Modified Soy (GMO), making it virtually useless as a supplement. This is one of those things that has been driving me around the bend until just recently. Finally, Organic Solutions has a NON–GMO source that is reliable and effective, and I’d recommend up to two rounded tablespoons each day for every average sized adult. Remember the 150 Rule for children who can also greatly benefit from this awesome supplement. Guest guest
I don't think lecithin is used to clear cholesterol from your veins, nor would it cause you to produce more cholesterol. It is used to emulsify fatty deposits in your veins, which can harden into arterial plaque, so they can be carried out of your system. I wouldn't stop taking the lecithin, but if you want to, then you should replace it with either flax seed oil or krill oil. If I have learned one thing, it is that our own liver makes cholesterol and if the count is high, it is because our liver is sending the cholesterol into our blood stream to protect our interior vein walls from invaders that would in fact cause plaque to attach itself to the walls, and also to keep inflammation of the veins from happening. High cholesterol is a multi-billion dollar drug business today, and big pharma keeps lowering the 'safe' numbers so they can get more people on their dangerous drugs. I have read several times that over 200 is cause for concern, but nothing lower than that. Consider taking Doc's Total Tonic to ward off invaders and do a liver cleanse. Not a doctor, just a lay person who has studied alternative remedies for years. Guest guest
Thanks Diane, my Cholesterol was in 300 range, so at this point I am taking medication for it. One problem with me is that when I took Niacin, it lowered my cholesterol at first and then in my second blood test the result showed it was elevated. Then I took Fish oil, the same thing happened, then I took lecithin and again same result. So at this point my cholesterol is controlled by medication, however, I would prefer a natural way to control it. I am going to check Total Tonic as you suggested. --- On Fri, 3/27/09, Diane Mackey <dmackey00 wrote: Diane Mackey <dmackey00Re: {Herbal Remedies} Re: using Almond for un pluging vain wallsherbal remedies Date: Friday, March 27, 2009, 7:29 AM I don't think lecithin is used to clear cholesterol from your veins, norwould it cause you to produce more cholesterol.
