Guest guest
Psoriasis results from chronic extreme dryness and yin deficiency. They need to drink alot more water, throughout the day. Drinking it all at once doesn't work. You have to get used to having a water bottle with you. Use Gatorade to amp your hydration. If you don't want the sugar, get Smartwater. You can supplement with American Ginseng too. Don't use regular ginseng, because that has a more yang property. American Ginseng is much more yin. That's what they need. You could try raw fruit and vegetable juicing as well. It's great to build blood and yin, but raw foods deplete spleen qi, which can result in digestive issues (loose stools) and other issues. If you have too much raw food, supplement with peppermint tea. (There are great acupuncture points and Chinese herbs for psoriasis as well, depending upon the individual's pattern diagnosis. These kind of treatments are much more effective, but the above is some stuff you can do on your own.) - " Beatrice Elkins/Varney " <tishvarney <herbal remedies > Sunday, March 22, 2009 1:36 PM {Herbal Remedies} psoriasis??? > This is my first time posting, so please bear with me.
