Has anyone ever used cinnamon and honey for diabetes, hair loss or anything

else? I've read that this is a powerful combination but I would love to hear

from anyone who has successfully used this combination for anything. thanks so

much.

My kids and I have been using cinnamon and honey all winter to ward of colds. We have used 1 teaspoon honey and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (I just put honey on spoon out of jar, add the cinnamon on top and place in mouth) at the very first sign of a cold and take it two times per day for three days. So far this year we have been cold-free! The original recipe said to use 1 tablespoon honey, but I think the honey is used more as an agent to get the cinnamon down rather than having any real medicinal value in warding off colds.

We purchase our honey from a bee keeper every year and don't buy from the stores. It is much cheaper and I know the source. It is also raw. I bought a half gallon of honey for $11.00, which I think is pretty good. I bought the half gallon plus two pints (one for upstairs bathroom, one for downstairs bathroom) and the half gallon is for the kitchen. Honey is awesome medicine.

We also use honey for coughs, fever blisters (cold sores/Herpes Simplex), and my mother-in-law has used honey and vinegar for shingles (eases pain and burning, helps to dry them up, and keeps one from getting infected).

Honey is one of those universal medicines that every household should have and utilize. I'd say the same goes for cinnamon as it is anti-fungal, antiviral, and anti-biotic.

Honey and cinnamon has many recuperative powers. We use it for colds

(adding 1t cayenne extract). It feels great on a sore throat! Very

warming and healing.
