Guest guest
Food grade hydrogen peroxide is a 35% solution, and needs to be reduced to at least a 3% solution (one to eleven parts). to be used orally or topically. Never, ever use this undiluted. What you buy at the grocery/drug store is a 3% solution and can have other items like stabilizers, in the solution and should only be used externally. I use food grade and purchase by the quart (around $20), and make my own solution with one part H2O2 and eleven parts distilled water. I keep it in the bathroom for mouth rinse and deodorant. Guest guest
Grocery store H2O2 has a preservative in it. I don't remember the exact preservative, I seem to recall it being some sort of citrate. Food grade H2O2 is usually sold in 35%, and is MUCH stronger than the grocery store stuff. You can dilute the food grade approximately 12:1 and get the same stuff as the grocery store stuff, but without the preservatives. Guest guest
Food Grade is used in the food industry to sanitize and keep things clean and prevent bacteria growing. It is used to get oxygen in the body when ingested in small amounts. Guest guest
"Food Grade" is 35% pure hydrogen peroxide.. it is corrosive and needs to be handled with great care. Skin exposed to the 35% can burn very quickly as well as delicate tissues in the throat etc. etc.. It should be diluted with distilled water if used. Drug store is 3%. As for purity I use it for everything and since oxygen kills all bacteria and germs it is suitable for any purpose I have.--- On Mon, 3/23/09, Organic Solutions <organicsolutions wrote: Organic Solutions <organicsolutionsRe: {Herbal Remedies} Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2)herbal remedies Date: Monday, March 23, 2009, 1:50 PM Food Grade is used in the food industry to sanitize and keep things clean and prevent bacteria growing. It is used to get oxygen in the body when ingested in small amounts.Best,KellyLeah wrote: I'm wondering, what is the difference between Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) and the stuff the can be bought in the grocery or drug stores?Thanks,Leah--- On Fri, 3/13/09, Organic Solutions <organicsolutions@ cabletvonline. net> wrote: Organic Solutions <organicsolutions@ cabletvonline. net>Re: {Herbal Remedies} Re: Herbal Remedies- for cats?herbal remediesFriday, March 13, 2009, 2:14 PM Organic Solutions now carries Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2)Call or email us at 888-898-9660 or Office@AcademyofNat uralHealing. com☺KellyDon Allen wrote: Where does one obtain food grade H202?--- On Thu, 3/12/09, kazcee <dusky21 (AT) lycos (DOT) com> wrote: kazcee <dusky21 (AT) lycos (DOT) com>{Herbal Remedies} Re: Herbal Remedies- for cats?herbal remediesThursday, March 12, 2009, 9:07 AM I had a little dog that suffered from flea allergy, losing rump hair and scratching herself raw.I started putting a few drops of 35% food grade H2O2 in her water (initially this was just to keep her water clean), but soon found this fixed her allergy.
