Hi All

I am making an ointment for inflammation---

so far I have an olive oil base with comfrey and calendula flowers that have been melding for about 6 months. I am going to starin and add MSM powder and I have liquid DMSO (it is hard to get here in Canada). I am wondering if anyone has any other ingredients they can think of adding. Also I was thinking to use beeswax to harden it into ointment form. Would all this combine well with the DMSO? Also would like to modify the greasiness if possible...

Any info would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Bea

Hi Bea,

I see no problem in mixing the DMSO in with your salve. Using the

olive oil/beeswax base is a great way to make a wonderful salve!!!

That sounds like a great mixture for an anti inflammatory salve!
