most health food stores. Make your tea or tincture from the dried seed pods

Lobelia tincture on the market. So give OS a call if you for some reason

of anti-convulsants for seizure disorder. I succeeded. Haven't had a

seizure for many years now. Lobelia is good for both asthma and will stop a

seizure. Some people use it to purge the lungs, I've done it this, but it

was pretty hard on me. Lung cleansing with Lobelia, is something Bryan or

Doc will have to talk about. I've done it a few times.

I also wanted to learn to make my own tinctures, but would not hesitate to

order something from OS if I needed one I don't have. I love their recipes,

they are easy to put together and store. I use dark glass for the final

bottling process. It protects the tincture from sunlight and it will last

practically forever. My suggestion is to try Organic Solutions first, if

you like it make your own, but if you can't or do not have the time, their

products are excellent.

I would think so as any product can cause heart racing/palpitations, especially if you are sensitive or allergic to it.

Lori...Just want to add a bit of data here that may not be well known- if there is a little sensitivity to an herb ,providing that you are using a good pure product , it is an herb you need ! One can take smaller amounts that do not stimulate a reaction and increase slowly.

Interesting. I guess it makes sense when one thinks of homeopathy. Thanks for the info!

Lobelia is an anti spasmodic sedative typer herb.  It is not known to

make the heart race but could affect people differently.

Well, my daughter had also started taking American Ginseng, not the same day, a

few weeks before. So I recommended she reduce the amount she was taking as she

is very small. She is 35 but only 4'9 and size 4. We are all short. but she is

the shortest by 2 " . Also is there any possible dangers from American Ginseng?

It really helps her energy. I had read of estrogen effects? If it raised her

blood pressure that would be a good thing, hers is never over 70/60.
