Guest guest
Hi everyone. I need a little advice in regards to my son, who is 7. He is very healthy and bright and we do not vaccinate. He has never had ear infections or even colds. But about twice a year he suffers from breathing and respiratory issues. He gets wheezy and the cough sounds horrible. He has had breathing treatments at the docs office several times and will use an inhaler when he needs to. The assumption has been that this is allergy induced wheezing and so he has been on singular. I obviously do not like that and avoid at all costs the antibiotics they want to give him. Right now his cough sounds terrible and iit s in his chest. I really am looking for natural suggestions to help clear this. Thank you so much! Oh, and he loves dairy (we did raw dairy until it got to be too expensive) and I know this is a problem. Guest guest
Amy, Almond milk may be an option for your son. I would treat him with a tea of Basil, Mullein, Coltsfoot and Plantain, sweetened with honey. The cough can also be soothed with Honey mixed with cinnamon (1T:1t) or Honey & cayenne. -- ~~~~Jaynee~~~~ God is in Control!
Guest guest
Lobelia is the best lung herb and also the best anti spasmodic herb. This will work to end any coughing fit and help to heal the lungs at the same time. It is perfectly safe for children to take...Just use the child dosage rule. Put the child's weight over 150 and reduce to the smallest fraction. Ex: 50/150 = 1/3 So the 50lb child's dosage would be one third of the adult dosage☺ Kelly handinhanddoulaservices wrote: Hi everyone. I need a little advice in regards to my son, who is 7. Guest guest
Yes!!! Lobelia is great for asthma as it opens up the bronchials and allows more air flow. It also is anti spasmodic so it calms the person down so that can take deep breaths.
