Guest guest
I have a mild rash on my legs - small red bumps, itchy. Kind of annoying but not too bad. I can still sleep at night and ignore the rash most of the day. Every couple hours, though, the rash gets itchy enough that I can't ignore it. I don't want to take medicine, like Benedryl. I tried A & D ointment, but that didn't work. So, I tried rubbing alcohol instead. I was just trying to clear out the pores and clean the allergen (assuming that's what it is) away. So, here's where it gets weird. Using rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball to clean my legs makes the cotton ball turn blue - a dark bluish grey. It gets rid of the itch marvelously, but I can use cotton ball after cotton ball and every one turns the same weird color. I thought I'd try something else and took a hot bath in epsom salts. When I drained the bath water, there was a dark bluish grey ring left around the tub. This has never happened before; there has never been a ring of any color at all, let alone a blue one. Does anyone know what to make of this? Thank you. Laura
