Guest guest
Doc- What are your thoughts on canola oil? I'm in day 4 of the Total Body Cleanse and while reading labels of organic food products in the store, a lot of foods have "organic canola oil". What is a canola anyway? Thanks Kris
Guest guest
I know you're asking Doc but I thought I would give you a little of what I know.  Canola's other name is Rape seed oil (doesn't sound very nice).  It is a weed and insects won't eat it because it's so toxic.  It's part of the mustard family.  Your body doesn't really know how to process it so it sort of stays in your body.  Here is a link I found really helpful on Canola oil.  http://www.shirleys-wellness-cafe.com/canola.htm Kris Davidson <bradandkris herbal remedies Mon, 16 Feb 2009 6:31 pm {Herbal Remedies} Canola Oil Doc- What are your thoughts on canola oil? I'm in day 4 of the Total Body Cleanse and while reading labels of organic food products in the store, a lot of foods have "organic canola oil". What is a canola anyway? Guest guest
Canola is a made up name meaning "Canada Oil" and our own crooked FDA has allowed this fraud to happen since so much money changed hands. I refuse to eat canola oil (it is rape seed oil) as I stick with olive oil. The best oils to cook with are olive and virgin coconut oils.
