Guest guest
Sometimes these are very troublesome. I had them when I was in my 30's and the pressure on my bladder was not comfortable not to mention that I leaked all the time because of the size and pressure of these fibroids. I opted for the surgery, and it helped tremendously. However they did tell me that if I could have stuck it out for a few more years they would begin to shrink. I also go to doctors who are into natural methods, so I get good advice usually. If not I ignore them. Anyway I wanted to share my experience, when I was in my 30's my uterine fibroids caused such pressure on my bladder that I had to get the surgery, it was very embarrassing to laugh or cough or sneeze and pee your pants because of this pressure. Just wanted to let you all know from someone who is into alternative treatments what happened to me. My uterus was removed also, I refused to have my ovaries removed. I wanted to keep as much as "God gave me" and that is what I did. However, I often cringe at this problem, I always have wondered if I would have waited if they would have shrunk and I would not have had such a problem. Just I was working and I couldn't bear to continue to leak as I was. So embarrassing. Doctors play on our weaknesses, that is for sure.
