Guest guest
The barley baby formula is by far the best I’ve seen. I don’t make enough milk for my babies past 6 weeks, and with the barley formula, they still smell like they are breast-fed. The formula is in the files, but I don’t put the corn syrup in and I add a little more milk than it calls for. I use goat milk on it instead of cow. I have done 2 babies on it, my sister has done 3 and I have told countless others about it. Because it is made from pearled barley it is WAY cheap. Put the corn syrup in if the baby has problems pooping, but if not it will roto-rooter them. herbal remedies [herbal remedies ] On Behalf Of Leslie Brown Monday, January 19, 2009 9:24 AM To: herbal remedies *Possible SPAM* {Herbal Remedies} Baby Formula Question Can anyone recommend a quality organic baby formula? Guest guest
If you do not propose to use corn syrup, then what? I thought that the corn syrup was there to provide necessary fructose. Maybe use honey instead, if you have a trusted source? Obviously not refined sugar, harmful in almost all cases. Not brown sugar or molasses either. Maybe this is one for Doc to answer. Could the corn syrup element be optional? I think that when it comes to infant nutrition we need to be hyper vigilant. If we are going to use Ron's formula, then let us use what is actually Ron's formula. Anella PS I have also heard that LRH modified his infant barley formula at a later date to include extra vitamin c and cod liver oil. Does anyone know if there is any truth to that? I am getting mixed information on-line and I don't want to have to start reading thorough all the old volumes of his books. -------------- Original message -------------- "Shelby Blakely" <sblakely The barley baby formula is by far the best I’ve seen. Guest guest
Somewhere along the line I have heard honey should not be given to babies in the first year. Maybe Doc can answer this one. Guest guest
Dear Anella, Not so on the Vitamin C and Cod Liver Oil. I've never seen that reference and I have them all. Ron does say you can use Honey, and my only admonition to doing so would be to ensure it is "RAW", "Unfiltered" and as natural as possible. There was a critical article put out on honey that was circulating around, but it was not by him. It warned against the potential of "Botulism" in Honey, but I've never heard of this being a problem as long as the Honey was RAW, Organic, and Natural. Remember that Honey is very rich in its own source of "Anti-biotic" properties. Honey is brilliant. Guest guest
You can find NON GMO Organic Corn Syrup. Just need to look. You could also use Honey or Maple Syrup as well. I would also think you could use Aguave Nectar too. The key word here is "Organic". Yours in Knowledge, Health and Freedom, Doc Trina wrote: Since most corn is GMO, I would not use it for anything!
