You are probably looking for the famous "lemon egg". It should be in the files of the group.

Lemon Egg

The Ultimate

Organic

Calcium Supplementation

1. Place whole, washed, un-cooked,

uncracked, organic eggs in a clean glass or

ceramic bowl.

2. Cover the eggs with freshly squeezed organic lemon juice

(concentrated lemon juice is pasteurized and should never be

used as a

substitute).

3. Cover

loosely and place it in the refrigerator.

A few times during the day, gently - very gently -

agitate the

liquid in the bowl. As the Calcium from

the shells is leached by the lemon juice, bubbles will appear around

the

eggs. Approximately 48 hours later,

when the bubbling has stopped, carefully remove the eggs

and try not to break the egg membranes. Put

the liquid in a glass jar with a lid tightly

and shake the mixture. You now have

“Lemon Egg”. I love to drink it straight or mix 1 to 2 oz in my

Total

Nutrition. It is the best source of

Organic Calcium I

know of. The eggs are still good. Use them.

Make Lemon Egg in small batches so you use it up in 7-14 days. You can freeze it in ice cubes if you

wish. If it smells bad, toss it out.

You remove the eggs from the lemon/calcium mixture the eggs are in in

the jar.  The eggs may be cooked after this but its just the dissolved

shell that is part of 'lemon egg' and must remain in the jar, put the

lid on and shake it up, voila.

The calcium in the eggshell is dissolved by the lemon juice, the main ingredient of which is citric acid. Calcium forms a chelate with citric acid, which is soluble in water and is easily absorbed by the body. Calcium is the important ingredient to be consumed. The egg can be used if one so wishes. What about just dissolving the eggshell minus the egg?

Hello Patricia,

You just set the whole egg, not cracked, in the lemon juice.  The lemon

juice will dissolve the egg shell but not the membrane which holds in

the yolk.

The egg is not mixed with the lemon juice. When the egg shell dissolves

in the lemon juice you get the best source of organic calcium called

the Lemon Egg formula.

Then you carefully remove what is left of the egg, which should be just

the membrane with the egg inside.

You can then cook and eat the egg and drink the Lemon-Egg formula by

the tablespoon for calcium.

Does this clear it up for you???

Hi Winter,

The egg needs to be whole because it is still live in this form.

When you crack the egg shell it is then dead and looses some of its

good live properties.

I agree with that. We all know that a vital force or life force exist, even though it is not visible to our eyes. We can see living things but cannot see the energy that is manifesting as life. I have also heard that sprouted grains are very nutritive because life forces are most strong during the sprouting process.RegardsVG--- On Fri, 9/1/09, Organic Solutions <OrganicSolutions wrote:Organic Solutions <OrganicSolutionsRe: {Herbal Remedies} egg shellsherbal remedies Date: Friday, 9 January, 2009, 12:01 AM
