Guest guest
I am pretty sure I have a whopper of a kidney infection. I can feel the ache in my back and it hurts now to urinate. I wish right now that I had access to all the goodies in the kidney/bladder tea/tinctures. For now I am drinking a decoction of Juniper berries, parsley and dandelion leaf (extra strong and lots of it) and just made a fresh batch of tonic which I am taking lots of. Also, organic cranberry & pomegranite juice. But I am pretty much miserable right now. I don't know what kidney stones feel like, but I wouldn't be suprized if I have one. Until payday (I just started a new job), these are my only options. Payday is 10 days away. I was taking AZO for the urinary pain. Usually I take that and drink a ton of cranberry juice when I get a bladder infection. It works wonders, but unfortunately the AZO doesn't even touch the pain this time. I don't have any other funds to put towards this little problem for the time being, but if I am missing anything simple that I can be doing, I would appreciate the heads-up. Thanks! Guest guest
Hi Angie, Last year I had kidney stones and not knowing what was wrong I went to the emergency room where they diagnosed the stones and sent me home to let them pass. They did a number of tests and said the stone was 4mm. My wife is an herbalist and on the way home she said that if she would have known the problem she could have easily solved it with Hydrangea root tea. After we got home she made me some and I drank it three times a day while I continued to pee through the mesh looking for the stone. It never passed! Hydrangea root is supposed to break up all kinds of stones. I recently felt a twinge of pain in my kidnyes and my wife made me another batch and the pain has since stopped. Always make sure that you keep yourself properly hydrated. Good luck! Guest guest
Hi Rick, I was wondering where you get the Hyrangea root for the tea. I have a friend that has really bad kidney stones. Thanks, Joan --- Rick Burgess <lburgess13 wrote: > Hi Angie, > > Last year I had kidney stones and not knowing what > was wrong I went to the emergency room where they > diagnosed the stones and sent me home to let them > pass. Guest guest
I have no data on AZO but the Juniper Berries are great. Make sure they are of high quality and not dried little brown balls. High quality Juniper berries are blueish purple and have a wonderful pine flavor. You are missing something simple and inexpensive. Fresh organic Corn Silk. Buy some Organic corn and gather the silk. Make a tea outta that or eat it raw in a salad. Best of luck in have a painless piss. ~B On Sun, 2009-01-04 at 03:39 +0000, Angie wrote: I am pretty sure I have a whopper of a kidney infection. Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I'm new to the group and kind of stay behind the scenes as I'm learning. My husband has kidney stones October of 2006 he had surgery for them as he is loaded with stones. He has been battling them since. We have done some research with not much money we found a solution that worked for a while it was a tablespoon of olive oil followed by a tablespoon of lemon. He took that 3 times a day. We then found Hydrangea and that seemed to work better but it's 27.00 a bottle and hard on us as he's out of work. We also found that blackberry tea which is 2.75 and ounce so he's trying that right now. We are looking for goldenrod as it's suppose to be the best for kidney stones it's what the doctors perscribe in Germany. If anyone has any insights to any of this we welcome it.
