I have a three yr old who doesn't sleep but maybe three hours in

a 24 hour day...and they're not all at the same time. The doctors

aren't helping..He is on a schedule and routine but nothing works...

I've tried some herbs and other stuff and nothing works...Even

the benedril for his cold doesn't slow him down. Or I should say doesn't make him tired cuz he's not that active.

What can i do?????..The family isn't getting sleep because of him. He is noisey when he wakes up.

I don't believe in children this small getting tv so he doesn't get

any tv or junk food or white bread...He gets very healthy foods!!! He

definetly doesn't get sugar around me....no way!!! I'm not the

typical parent out there who does all of those things you

mentioned..I'm old school thru and thru!

So now what??????

Rock on for being old school and for having a green thumb.

More exercise is about all I have.

Doc carries a Cal- Calm tea that helps with sleep and Ron Hubbard has the Cal-Mag formula.

Cal-Mag use to put me right to sleep when I was three and pulling the same trick.

Best of luck in finding the solution.

Well for years I have suffered from insomnia and I know kids can be hyperactive. At his age, meditation is probably off the list of options, but a herbal tincture of wild oat (useordinary oatmeal), with passiflora might help.It helped me, except that I can't get passiflora at my location.I mixed a tonic of wild oat, ginseng, a pseudo-ginseng along with immune enhancers for the winterand slept for 12 hours for the 1st time without medication.garyherbal remedies From: BryanShillingtonDate: Fri, 2 Jan 2009 15:03:51 -0500{Herbal Remedies} Does anyone have a remedy for insomnia?
